There had never been a greater kiss before that one, I've decided. It was weird kissing a somewhat stranger in the middle of a small airport hallway, but it was so great. After the kiss, she took my hand and her bags and walked towards the airport with me.

"You punched a flight attendant so you could talk to me. Nobody's ever done that for me." I found that hard to believe, because at that moment I would've done anything for her.

"I've never done anything like that before. It was oddly-"

"Arabella, we need to run." I turned around and saw airport security coming straight towards me.

"Run?" I'd never done anything illegal, but I assumed punching a flight attendant and then running from security was.

"Yes, we need to run!" She grabbed my hand and we ran. We ran all the way to her car,and climbed in.

"Wait. Arabella, what about your car?" I laughed.

"I took a taxi." With that, she laughed and drove off.

"So, who are you?" Elise asked me. I almost laughed, but when I looked at her face I realized she was serious.

"Who am I?" I was a bit confused. How does one answer that?

"Yes, who is Arabella? Her hobbies, her stories, what she hates, what she likes. Who are you?"

"I'm nobody really. Just another girl."

"Nuh-uh. You're not getting by that easy. Who are you?" She continued to stare at the road while she questioned me. Who am I? I was nobody, just some girl.

"Okay. Um. I was born on February 28, 1995. My dad left my mom when I was two years old, and my mom died one year later. I lived with my aunt until I was 14, but she thought that I didn't fit in, and I wasn't making any friends, so she passed me off to my grandma who lived in Paris. My grandma died when I was seventeen, so I moved to New York and I live there with my best friend, Michael, and his boyfriend Ty. I just came here for my grandma's funeral and to visit the city again. I'm supposed to be going back to New York right now, but...." I laughed. "That's me, but who are you?" Elise looked panicked.

"El, what's wrong?" She slammed on the breaks of the car. "I'm not anyone. I'm nobody, okay? Remember that. I'm nobody." Then she got out of the car.

That was the first time I saw the harsher side of Elise. I should've left right then, but I had to find out more about her. I liked her a lot, and as much as I could've run, I didn't.

And I never would.
