Arabella's POV:
I woke up to Elise gently shaking me. I'm pretty sure I slept the entire flight. "Hey, we're here. Let's go home. Or wherever." I yawned and stretched a little before I grabbed my bags and followed her down the aisle of the airplane. I called Michael and Ty to come pick us up, and that morning their cuteness was unusually sickening. "Hey Ara, guess what Ty did last night?" Michael said as soon as I got in my car. "Mike!" Ty screeched and slapped him. "Guys, I don't think I or Elise would like to hear about what you guys did in my bedroom last night." Ty blushes, but Michael stuck to his lie. "We did not. You have no proof." Elise sat there laughing the entire time.
When we arrived at Elise's apartment, I kissed her goodbye and agreed to call her in the morning. I hopped back in the car and waved to her again. "Well geez guys, way to lay out your entire sex life in front of a complete stranger." Ty blushed some more. "Well, she'll have to get used to it. Plus, what Ty did deserves some bragging. He wasn't too bad at it either." Michael was literally glowing. "Ty, what did you do that was so great?" Ty didn't answer. "He-" "No, don't tell her!" Ty didn't seem angry; he was laughing. "Oh come on, what did you do?" No one answered me, they just giggled.
When we got home, I went straight to my bedroom. I was exhausted and jet lagged, despite the couple's attempts at making me laugh. When I laid down on my bad, I saw something slightly hidden under my bed. "Ugh, MICHAEL!" He rushed into my room, and his face flushed when I showed him the used condom I found. "I know this isn't mine." "It's not my fault. I would've went to my room if Ty wasn't about to let me take him right there on the floor. He even topped me in your bed!" I shook my head in an attempt to clear the images. "I didn't need the full story, just take care of it." Why are my friends so open about telling me these things?
After Michael left my room, I laid on my bed and thought. Was it right to call Elise tomorrow? She got so angry; it scared me a little. No, that's dumb. She was in a tough situation. Her childhood home was there, where obviously something bad happened. I would just have to find out. I wonder how long she lived in France? Obviously not too long, or she would have an accent.
"Arabella? Can I come in?" I sat up on my bed and saw Ty, who looked very shy. "Of course." I motioned towards my bed so he would sit down. "First of all, I'm sorry about last night, I-" "Ty, don't apologize. Please, I don't want to hear about it again." Ty seemed like he was always blushing these days, and that day was no exception. "Ok. Second of all, are you okay? I mean I know you're really tired, and you just went to a funeral, but, I mean, you met a girl, you should be happy." Leave it to Ty to notice the one thing I was trying to hide from him.
"Yeah, I'm just thinking. She has a bit of a temper, I think. I'm just being ridiculous. She had a terrible childhood, as far as I can tell. That just brought out some emotion in her. It's fine. I like her." Ty smiled. "I've never seen you like a girl before and act on it. Usually you like them from afar." I shoved him off the bed and smiled. "Ty!" Michael called from the kitchen. The way Ty's face lights up makes me realize how much I want to be in a relationship. Ty scurries out of the room.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I don't know how long I was asleep, but it was early morning when I woke up. I was really hungry, so I walked into the kitchen to make some pancakes. When I walked in there, I rubbed my eyes to see if the scene in front of me was real. Ty was sitting on the counter, with Mike standing in between his legs. They were both shirtless and Ty didn't have any pants on, and they were making out. I couldn't decide whether to interrupt them or just leave. They looked so... in love. I stood there and watched them make out for a bit, but once Mike laid Ty down on the counter, I just decided to leave. I'll let them have their fun.
