Fwhip was shaken awake by his twin, Gem, "FWHIP WAKE UP OR ELSE WE'LL BE LATE!!!" Fwhip groaned, "Alright, alright! I'm up, I'm up!!! God." Fwhip pulled himself out of bed as his sister was berating him. "-You're so lucky that we packed up yesterday! If we didn't, we would probably be even more late!" Fwhip let out a small sigh as he walked out of his room and over to where his sister was standing outside the door.
"Gem, I love you, really I do. But, CAN YOU PLEASE STOP YELLING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS BEFORE THE NEIGHBOURS CALL THE COPS???" Fwhip let out a sigh of relief as Gem went quiet, though she kept muttering stuff under her breath. Once Fwhip was done getting ready, the twins went downstairs to where their mother was waiting for them. Fwhip didn't exactly have the best relationship with his mother, unlike Gem. While Gem talked to their mother, Fwhip moved the rest of his and Gem's stuff into his mother's car. When he finished, his sister and mother were waiting outside, still talking. "Oi! Gem! I thought you were worried about being late!?"
Gem paused for a moment before quickly nodding her head, rushing to get into the car. Once everyone was in the car, they set off to the train station. "So, are you two excited?" Gem quickly nodded her head, "YES! I'm so excited to see Pearl and Scott!" Fwhip just slightly shrugged. He didn't have that many friends there. The only person he was semi-friends with was Pearl, but whenever he hung out with Pearl and Gem, it just felt like he was third-wheeling... Even though those two were only friends, it just felt weird for him.
-Small Time Skip-
Their mother walked with them through the train station. "Alright, I do need to get to work, please write to me when you get there!" Gem smiled, hugging her mom, "We will mom!" Fwhip rolled his eyes, making his way over the wall that was in between platforms 9 and 10. "Gem, hurry up!" Gem sighed, hugging their mother one more time before dashing over to the wall. Fwhip watched as she disappeared into the wall. "Fwhip?" Fwhip looked over to his mother, "Please, be safe." His mother gave him a small smile. Fwhip stared at her blankly for a few seconds before turning away and running through the wall.
As Fwhip opened his eyes, he found himself standing on platform 9 3/4. A small smile spread across Fwhips face, he didn't know why... But he had a good feeling about this year...
