Tango silently watched as Impulse chased Zedaph through the snow. Skizz stood right next to him, a wing draped over him so that the snow wouldn't harm him. "You know... I wasn't originally from this realm..." Tango raised his eyebrow, he had heard Skizz say that many times before, only this time... This time it seemed different... "I was summoned here years upon years ago... Originally I was sent here to watch over a small group of humans. But they were not good people, so I left them. I went against orders... The last, and final, mission I got was to watch over a Blazeborne... I never knew who wanted me to watch over this Blaze, but their voice had been filled with so much emotion... It was heartbreaking to hear how this person was speaking... They were on the verge of tears..."
"Wh-why are you telling me, Skizz...? You normally have a reason to just randomly drop lore about yourself and your past." Skizz laughed a bit, amused by Tango's obliviousness. "I'm telling you because that Blazeborne is you, Tango." There was a moment of silence. "M-me...? Why would someone want a literal angel to look after me?" Skizz shrugged, "I don't know... All I know is that they really cared about you..." Tango slowly nodded his head, "I... I see..."
"HEY SKIZZ, TANGO!!! ZED WANTS TO TRY AND SELL SOME OF HIS STUFF!!! YOU GUYS WANNA JOIN US!?!" Skizz laughed while Tango just shook his head. Skizz did end up agreeing to come along with them. After making sure that Tango would be right alone, the three idiots went to see what they could trade and sell with some other merchants. Tango's ear slightly twitched as he spotted something, or something, out of the corner of his eyes. Oh... A small smirk spread across Tango's face.
...
A semi-loud scream came from a specific cod hybrid. Tango nearly fell over from how hard he was laughing, while the cod just glared at him. "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FO- Wait... TANGO!?!" The Balzeborne politely bowed to the cod. "Evening, Codfather! Long time no see!!" The Codfathers gills twitched in slight annoyance, a quiet sigh slipping from the cod's lips. "Yeah, it has certainly been a while... But, please never do that again..." By this point, another familiar face peaked out from a bookshop close by. "Really, Tango? Again?" Tango smiled at the elven prince, "Hello again!!"
The trio ended up spending the rest of the day just hanging out with each other. Near the end of the day, Scott invited Tango to join him and Jimmy back to the palace. Scott was telling Tango that he wanted to help the Blazeborn with his dress situation, Tango happily agreed to any plan Scott had to change out of this dress. They got past the guards, and they stopped Tango for a moment till they knew Tango was with Prince Scott and the Codfather.
Once inside, Tango instantly pulled his hood down, happy to get that thing off of his head. He shook his head, his hair slightly puffing out and his ears twitched up a storm as he did so. Scott led them to his room so that he could properly get a good look at the dress. As they were walking, they passed the throne room. Tango being Tango, glanced into the room. But he froze for a few seconds when he saw who was inside.
