Marcus' P.O.V.

I wake up and check the time. 12 pm. My head is pulsating and I have no will to get up. Daisy was the only person on my mind last night. She behaved as if I had hurt her. As if I had sent someone after her. I cannot come to terms with her neglecting me and blaming me for something I didn't do. I don't even know why I involved with Daisy. I sit up, running my hands down my face. I scratch my chin and see a note.

"Jason's wit me. We were hungry and went out. D."

I hope he didn't leave in his pyjamas. I remember I gave him the pyjamas. Did I? Fuck's sake. I see my phone died and I forgot the charger. I see Darryl's charger on the table and its plug fits. Thank God. I plug it in and go to the bathroom. As I finish showering, I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday because I literally didn't pack anything and I have to go back to Daisy's. I don't know how that will go, but as time is passing by, the only rational thing I can do is to go back to Liverpool. I have nothing to do here anymore. Since I can smell fight in the air, I take my phone to text Darryl to be with Jay a few hours until I pack. He's already traumatised, he shouldn't listen to yet another fight between Daisy and I.

I see three missed calls and they're all from Dejuan. I see a text as well - Call me asap.

What has happened? As if I didn't have enough on my plate, some shit occurred there as well.

I call him and he picks up immediately.

"Where the fuck are you?", he asks and I narrow my brows.

"Why? What has happened?"

"Have you seen Daisy?", he asks and I get up.

"Why? I mean.. I'm at my friend's. We had a small fight last night, but she.. She was alright."

I feel that my voice is trembling and I bite my lip.

"Ya, mate, she was here last night. Somehow, she got £200. I don't know how, maybe she already had that money on her. She gave Blue £100 and then came to me and asked for the gun."

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"She made me swear on the Bible that I wouldn't tell you, but I'm scared for her. I called her, but she didn't pick up."

"Wait.. You gave her the fucking gun?!", I ask in disbelief as I sit down because I'm about to pass out.

"I had to! She told me she would find it somewhere else! She was so persistent and I was scared that something would happen to her. Marcus, find that girl, she's going to kill someone."

"No, no.. It's Daisy.. She.."

Fucking hell. I was right yesterday. She knows the man. Then he probably knows where she lives. He'll hurt her again.

"Dejuan.. Listen. If I call you, come to Daisy's. Don't call the police yet. I'll try to figure it out."

"What police, man?! That's my gun and it's stolen."

"Fuck.", I mumble, more to myself as I put on shoes and grab the jacket.

"I'm on my way. Why didn't you call earlier?!", I yell at him and he yells back "Because I swore! And I couldn't even sleep because I was scared! But, trust me, she didn't seem okay. If that person shows up, she'll shoot. I saw how determined she was."

"Of course she was. You should have seen her yesterday when she came home.", I say and start the car.

"Has she told anything else?"

"No. I just know it's a man. And apparently white because she called him a cracker."

"It could be her ex."
