Sans dreams a lot more again, with visions jumping from one to another. She sees her broken-hearted parents and sister mourning over her brother's loss. Because of her affiliation with the Crescent, she drifted away from them eventually. They were worried that she would get into some trouble for it, and she resented them for not standing up for her brother's death. But reality hit the other way around.

One morning, she had returned home to try and reconcile - only to find them in a pool of their blood. A message was written in their blood on the living room mirrors and cabinets: "Blood for Blood. Congratulations, Orphan." Ayla broke down into hysteria and sobbed nonstop as she held her dead parents and sister in her arms until her Crescent comrades arrived to try and help alleviate her pain and suffering. She was beyond comfort and that was the second emotional blow she had experienced in her life.

No proper investigations were done for their murders. The federation marked these deaths merely as "conflicts" as if to take her as a case example of what happens when you mess with the wrong people.

Ayla took their deaths personally and hunted down all those involved. She ended them personally, and each time she finished one off, she would ensure that she got into the details to find the next person involved. However, the communication chain got cut off when the fourth in line foamed immediately at gunpoint, indicating that he was prepared to head for the afterlife. She knew that they were just following orders passed down by the masterminds. Vengeance made her stronger and more determined. More determined to hurt others for vengeance. Along the way, the civilian toll became just a number for her. It was like a monthly data report of the damages so far. She kickstarted an innovation team to enhance weaponry and developed external partnerships which created business. This made her even more loved by the Crescent. It seemed like she was unstoppable. She brought the light to the darkness experienced by the possessors. They were abused by the federation in the experiments and unaccepted by society, who saw them as a threat to their ordinary lives. For once, they were becoming powerful and they envisioned Crescent to be the future. Maybe they were going to be a powerhouse someday.

But behind close doors, Ayla was beyond miserable and suffocating inside. She remembered how happy she was in childhood and how everything went awry after she awakened her ability. She was drowning on land and spiralling downhill into the darkness. She was exhausted and wanted everything to come to an end. With no more family by her side, and the lives of many that she carried, she desired an end to the beginning.

Then, in her sleep, she woke up in a dreamy land where the sky was full of sparkling stars and there was a huge tree whose roots entrenched deep into the soil

Then, in her sleep, she woke up in a dreamy land where the sky was full of sparkling stars and there was a huge tree whose roots entrenched deep into the soil. Instinctively, Ayla knew where she was. She was where the unborn came and left to join the human realm.

The mark of civilization. Sans came closer to touch the tree but upon touching the tree, her hand fizzled out some darkness that was volcanic like magma.

"My child, I sense great sorrow in you," the great tree loomed outwards.

"Great Mother, I am deeply exhausted

"Great Mother, I am deeply exhausted. My family is dead because of me, and every day I live in worry that the others I love (in Crescent) will die. I am so tired. I have sinned so much that I cannot be forgiven."

Ayla stepped forward to hug the tree, even though her skin fizzled upon touching the tree. She was drained and wanted everything to end.

"My sweet, dear child. You were born full of radiance, love, and care. If I must reveal, you were once a great spirit too who fell to the human realm because you cared and loved too much for these humans. When you descended, you carried along your original source of power. That is why you possess the power of Chlorokinesis. The great nature is your source. You may have been led astray, but it does not mean your path is lost."

A gentle touch that came from the air moved towards her heart, which made Sans' being glow.

"You were destined for many great things. You can choose to avoid them, but they will come to you eventually. The ones with abilities have lost their way and stopped believing in the good. Humans have stopped believing in ancient spirits and manufactured new Gods for easy application to modern life. I, the great mother, am slowly and surely dwindling. As you can see, my power is dwindling day by day, and one day I will cease to exist. Here is something that I can only give you now while I am conscious. Don't forget, you are a child of love, and you should do what you feel is correct. Not for the sake of destruction. Because destruction is not the solution. To use your power is to use it for good."

Sans wakes up groggily and ponders through the dreams she has. To some extent, she is glad that her memories were locked. But this also meant that whoever destroyed her memories also saw her memories. She decides that she has to keep this under wraps too while she figures out what the second ability she obtained from Great Mother Nature was.
