The following day, Kiaria goes to work as usual to quickly input the data of the tagged possessors. The whole team continues to map out the data in silence.

To be honest, the majority of the work was hard labour and grunt work. She heard that the software engineering team will be taking charge of the data to ensure that all data is synced to the latest server so that the health ministry can analyse. Kiaria also sees some possessors' names tagged to the recent flu virus and their status. Here in Serg, their health was much better as they had direct access to the vaccines.

Kiaria rushed through the inputting of data, as she had figured out the formulas to process the data on the server. She had hit her quota by noon and looked around to see her other colleagues.

They weren't very interested in getting to know her. To her, she's probably just a nepo-baby. She walks off alone and goes to the canteen to get her food. Due to the improving virus situation, safe distancing measures were less stringent than before and people could sit together in groups of 4. Kiaria takes her food to the office's sky garden pantry to eat at instead.

As she sits above, she admires the scenery in front of her and the plants plotted along the way. Although the visuals were pretty fake, she still appreciated that plants were included so high up here. Back in her hometown, there were so many plants, trees, and shrubs in nature.

Here at the city side - there weren't many trees. She couldn't hear the usual tree leaves shake in the wind; or the birds that chirp around her as if spending time with Kiaria. She munches finishes her sandwich and looks up to the sky. Her life is so different now even though she is still under the same sky as before. How she and her guardians still shared the same view even though they were far away from each other.

Kiaria closes her eyes and envisions her hometown. The farmers work hard in the field to raise an abundance of crops for the season. The cooks will make very delicious and sumptuous meals while also creating a strong aroma that floats through the air. The wood makers would thank Mother Nature for Her resources and make home furniture like tables, chairs, and cabinets.

That's right. That's where she belonged better compared to the cold and lonely city. Ironically, the city felt isolated despite having more people per square. Kiaria wonders how people lived their lives like this, working for the rest of their lives with no excitement or happiness.

The scenery in her mind slowly seeps away and a new scenery flashes in. A romantic white background surfaces and humans are moving around in front of her. They had wings. Angels? They're indeed angels, Kiaria concludes to herself. They were all wearing white woven silk dresses/men's wear. Once again, Jax and Cassie look alike were next to her playing instruments. She looks down and sees that she is holding a lyre. Others were admiring their playing for a while as well. She was smiling. How peaceful and blissful, she thinks to herself.

"You okay?"

Kiaria opens her eyes and sees someone bending down to her level. Then, she realised that she was lying on the garden floor. Flustered, she quickly stands up and apologises. "Don't apologise. Do you need medical aid?" At closer view, she realises that it was an older lady with fanciful glasses, a black dress and a pair of red heels.

"Yes, I'm fine. I apologise for this once again and for scaring you. I am fine."

"Hey, intern. You look like you're burning up. You should go home and rest. What would people say if a sick person is working in the Health ministry?"

Kiaria wants to rebut her that she isn't an intern! But she agreed with the second half. She wouldn't want to bring Jax in trouble.

She drags herself back to her department and apologises to her manager, informing them that she is under the weather and would like to take the remaining day off. Kiaria re-emphasises that she has finished the work allocated to her for the day. Then, she walks out feverish and sluggish, feeling slightly dizzy. The ground was shaking. The staff who walked past her would enquire if she was fine, and she would insist that she was, and then finally she reached the bus stop.
