Season 3 Chapter 7 The Devil's Confession (PG13)

Kiaria dreams of her childhood again. She dreams of how she was serious as a young kid, who would look at her books studiously and memorise all the work she had to do. If the teacher said they had to finish 10 pages, Kiaria would complete 50 pages.

She didn't want to just be an ordinary kid. She had to be mature. She had to be understanding. Why else would anyone adopt an orphan of war?

"I have finished my homework," young Kiaria says as she handles her work over to the teacher. "You're such a smart child," her teacher comments.

"Is this boring for you?"

Kiaria nods her head.

"It would be nice to have harder equations," Kiaria replies.

Then, the environment suddenly turns chilly and cold. Her teacher suddenly transforms into an evil scarecrow and young Kiaria is stuck onto her chair that has glued her skin onto the wooden surface.

"Do you think they would love you just because you're smart?" The scarecrow ensnarls, showing all its fangs that were ready to sink into her body and eat her flesh.

"No...No one loves me," Kiaria says as tears threaten to spill out of her eyes.

"No one loves me for who I am...just who I represent..." The tears start to overflow as they go down her cheeks.

The scarecrow lifts her head and smiles cruelly.

"That you know too. No one loves you Kiaria. They only love you because of the versions before you. So do you want to be eaten? Hmm?"

Kiaria's eyes continued to water down with her chest hurting. It hurts so much to recognise her true fears of being unwanted and not being seen for who she is. She didn't want to be known as the Angel's reincarnation, for she wasn't. She was just a creation. She also didn't want to be known as A2, A3, Ayla or Sans. She just knows herself as Kiaria.

"So how, pretty girl? I could end things for you with a simple yes. It won't hurt, I promise!" The scarecrow goes bigger and larger and shows its huge mouth that could swallow Kiaria alive.

Kiaria looks down on the floor and sees that the scarecrow doesn't have a shadow.

She turns on her third eye and sees the dark shadowy figure right behind the scarecrow. It is a demon.

She uses her whisperer ability to get into the demon's head.

<Get OUT of my dreams.>

Kiaria wakes up in a sweat, huffing and puffing in shock. She touches the bed - it is entirely drenched with her sweat. Vappy was by her side, licking her to try to comfort her in her nightmare as she sensed that Bae returned with the Devil walking into the room.

"What did you dream of?" The Devil enquires while gently touching her cheeks. Kiaria closed her eyes to stop her tears and put her hand over his, to ascertain that he was here by her side.

"A demon entered my dream with the context of my childhood and sought permission to eat me."

The Devil frowns and calls upon the Hell doctor.

"The defence mechanism set up here is weakening. That's why a demon can enter her dream."

The doctor uses both his thumbs and puts them on Kiaria's forehead to see her dream, and uses his vision to share with the others in the room.

<this doctor must be higher level than me to see my dreams>, Kiaria thinks to herself.

The Devil gets so mad upon seeing it that he summons the demon by using mind control, throwing the demon over right in front of them while creating a spiritual border around Kiaria.
