Entry Five: Team Bonding Time!

MOUNT JUSTICE
JULY 20

It had been a slow day in Washington as Nirvana had stayed home while Diana had gone out for a mission. As of recently, the League had been busier than ever—or maybe it was just the need to have Wonder Woman as available as they could get. During this time, Wonder Girl had completely disappeared from the hero scene in Washington, focusing on trying to make the team in Happy Harbour work.

"Recognized: Wonder Girl, B04."

However, speaking of the team, she returned to the cave for the second time that week. But it was upon M'gann's request, more so an invite for a camping trip that Wally had proposed. She had a feeling that Wally wanted to use the opportunity as a date but was not eager to know if it was true.

"Nirvana!" The Amazon hears M'gann call out, a huge smile on her face as she flies towards her, wrapping her arms around her as a greeting. She couldn't help but stand still, unsure how to return a hug. "Hey, M'gann." She curtly said, with the Martian taking her hands in hers and dragging her to the campsite outside the cave, "Everyone else is waiting, they're almost done setting it up." M'gann tells her before announcing her arrival to the team, currently unpacking the snacks.

She greets the members one by one, passing by Kaldur at the tents while Robin and Wally busied themselves at the campfire, with the latter munching on a snack and Boy Wonder placing a marshmallow over the fire. Greeting Superboy last—simply through a nod—she sits on the chair behind him, staring at the melting marshmallow.

"Nirvana," she looks at Robin, hearing him call her name, "Do you want s'mores?" He asked as she blanked out, unsure of what s'mores were but didn't know how to ask. After a beat of silence—minus Wally's munching, "What are s'mores?" She questioned, the word feeling foreign on her tongue, to which Robin handed her a melted marshmallow squished between two crackers.

"It's delicious!" The Martian beamed as the Amazon took a bite, overwhelmed by the sweetness of the treat. "It's... very sweet," she muttered, cleaning the crumbs from the corners of her mouth.

"Well, this was a great idea, don't you think Wally?" Robin asked, turning to his speedster friend, "Camping in the great outdoors!" He exclaimed, returning to his seat on the grass, and roasting another marshmallow. "I don't remember inviting you. Besides, I didn't say anything about camping. I said campfire," Wally clarified as Nirvana took another bite of her snack, "Big difference between just a campfire and the whole camping thing. I don't like camping... outside..." he confessed before glancing back, "Unless if course I'm camping with that special someone."

She stifled in her laughter, seeing another almost failed flirting attempt. "Dude, kinda bordering on creepy." Robin murmured, "Well, I think all of us camping is a wonderful idea!" M'gann says with a huge smile on her face, hearing a hushed conversation over the fire crackling, "And thanks to Wally, I get to try s'mores for the first time! Nirvana too!"

"What can I say? I'm a sweetie! Ha! Get it? Cause s'mores are sweet?" The speedster says another attempt to catch M'gann's interest. "So, this is what you do when you go camping?" Superboy started, he'd been quiet the entire time aside from helping them when she arrived, gesturing to the tents, "Sleep in these flimsy things called 'tents' and sit around the fire?"

"Yeah, that's pretty much about it so if you feel like heading home I can sit out here with Miss M... alone." Wally murmured as she turned to him, "It should not hurt to have a team bonding moment, Wally." Nirvana tells him. "And you're as subtle as a train wreck, you know that?" Robin commented, "You're not going to catch any fish unless you go fishing dude." Wally reasoned in between munches, turning to Kaldur, "Sorry, no offence."
