A few weeks had gone by and with all the rumors of a Sepertist base being built on Kashyyk Carlina and the rest of the troopers had been busy prepping for any attacks, Carlina wiped sweat from her forehead as she finished patching up a speeder, "Alright Chewie test that out and see how that works." Climbing onto the bike he took it around the base a few times before giving her the thumbs up, while working with the wookies and the troopers had been fun she didn't get any time to really find out her powers and with each and passing day she found the urge stronger and harder to control. It had started the night after the formal dinner, with her growing frustrations she hadn't really bothered to stop and meditate. The members of the Bad Batch could tell that something was off, useally she was kind and gentle but when she had come back to the base with a nearly destroyed speeder they had decided to try and figure things out. Walking to the edge of the forest she sat down on a rock and pulled her knees to her chest, "Something on your mind there is." Yoda's voice rang out, she turned and saw the small green man sit down on another rock next to her, he looked at her and sighed. "To the forest you shall go, there you will begin your journey young one." "What? I can't leave now, not with the possible attack." He chuckled and stood,
"Your powers you must learn to control, your group they will be with. To help open your eyes." "Yes master." He motioned for her to follow him, walking a little ways he stopped in front of the same tree she and Tech had bonded. Placing a hand on the bark he let out a contented sigh, "Learn many things you will, be mindful of the pull and push of the force. Only then will you learn." While she was still deeply confused she simply nodded her head, "Come, tell your group we shall. I long journey you will have." Carlina had grabbed a back pack and grabbed some essentials before meeting the group at the edge of the forest, Carlina was wearing her traditional robes and armor. "Let's get going, we have a lot of ground to cover." She said adjusting the bag on her shoulder, "Mind telling me why we are leaving the base when an attack is prominate?" Tech asked looking at her, "All will be revealed in due time. For now lets get going." They followed her as she broke out into a light jog, they watched as she leaped into the air landing on a branch above them. She continued to run along the branches of the trees feeling the wind through her robes, "Now that's different." Wrecker commented watching as she flitted through the trees, "She really has her own style." Hunter said making sure that if she fell one of them would catch her, after a while the group had slowed to a walk. Carlina looked back to see that the boys had slowed down, she smiled and picked up an object. Tossing it into the air she targeted her first victim, throwing the object down she heard it make contact with Wreckers helmet,
"Hey!" she heard him exclaim, giggling she used the force to collect more. flicking her fingers she watched as the men below were pelted with bits of tree, Crosshair grew a little frustrated with her childish antics and shot the branch she was perched on. The air was filled with a loud crack as the branch snapped at the base making Carlina stumble and fall backwards, the group watched as she fell. Dropping his riffle Crosshair caught her in his arms, the force was strong enough to make him fall back onto his butt, "Are you alright?" Hunter asked rushing over to the two, "I'm fine Hunter. Good shot by the way Crosshair, you had the drop on me!" He smiled in knowing that his efforts hadn't hurt the General in any way, Carlina got up and brushed herself off, extending her hand she looked at Crosshair through her mask. He took it and was hoisted up back up on his feet, grabbing his riffle she tossed it back to him. "Alright enough playing around, lets get back to what we are here for." She said beginning to walk, "No." She stopped and turned as did everyone else, surprise etched on their faces that it was Wrecker who had blurted it out, "Excuse me?" Carlina said folding her arms, "I said no General. Why are we here? I for one am not stupid enough to just wander off into a jungle without know why we are doing it." Tech raised his eyebrows, looking at Hunter he just shrugged his shoulders. "Fine, I have certain powers that need clarity. And since this place is strong with the force we are out here in search for something." Wrecker folded his arms but didn't say a word, "As a child my families ship crash landed on the planet of Lothal. My parents died, i was dieing when a loth wolf gave me her soul. The soul allows me to use powers beyond what a Jedi is capable of." Tech looked at her, "It's a grey area of study. Since no one has ever had the powers beyond just using the force it's something people don't know how to use, let alone control." Hunter sensed her sadness and placed a gloved hand on her shoulder, "We're here for you Carlina, no matter what." Tech was the next to place a comforting hand on her shoulder, "Whatever you go through we'll do it together." "For better or for worse." Wrecker said giving her a hug, she looked at Crosshair who smiled at her, "We aren't leaving. Not yet anyways." Hunter smacked his chest, "Alright fine, your stuck with us for the long run. We won't let anything happen to you."
