Short chapter ya'll before we get into the first episode of the bad batch where their on Kaller. Only one chapter this week due to my life being super crazy right now. Hope you enjoy! And I aplogize for reposting the last chapter lol. I was super tired, I've been writing my stuff on another app before posting here and I wasn't paying attention to what i was pasting and copying! Please enjoy the real chapter.

 When night came Carlina and Crosshair saw Tech sitting at the table alone,"Where's Sandra?"Carlina asked,"She's not coming. After we got back she took the next shuttle to Courascant."He muttered, Carlina glared at Crosshair. He just rolled his eyes,"Sorry it didn't work out Tech, maybe next time.."He was cut off when Tech punched him in the face, Carlina gasped while Hunter, Wrecker and Echo peaked around the corner,"Thanks to you she has decided that it would be better if she never saw me again, thanks to you I lost someone I really liked. Thanks to you I'll probably end up being old and alone for the rest of my life."Tech stated, Carlina bit her lip."Tech, did you perhaps stop to think that maybe Sandra is just as scared of this as you are? I mean why it's different for Crosshair and I you already know but with Sandra she's dedicated her life to the Jedi order, turning her back on those teachings would be the fear of being a disapointment."Tech sighed, sitting down he buried his head in his hands."I am so confused, one minute she told me she liked me and then she's telling me to get lost. Women are confusing."Carlina laughed,"Give it time, I'm sure we'll see her again. In the mean time we need to prep our mission to Kaller.""Another suicide mission?"Hunter asked,"Better believe it, two battalions will be pushing the Sepertists base on Kaller. If we suceed in taking the base down it will ensure a secure victory for the Republic, making this the first domino to fall to ending the war.""This will be a tough one, so what's our spot in all this?"Tech asked,"We are simply there for back up, if one side starts to loose that's where we come in.""Oh so in other words we're the rienforcements."Tech stated,"Exactly. Now with Sandra gone and the rest of the 212th leaving soon we can begin our prep work. I still have yet to teach you guys how to weild my sabers.""We get to weild your sabers!?"Wrecker exclaimed,"Try to contain your excitment Wrecker, you'll learn to use the sabers just in case I end up dropping them in the heat of battle and you find yourself without a weapon, just some basic stuff. I did plan on teaching you sooner but Kenobi had to ruin my plans."Tech was beside himself and all thoughts of Sandra were out the window, he pulled out his data pad and started to do some research,"Tech, if you want to really know how a saber works I'll just show ya. Beats reading it and trying to figure out the complex layers of it all."He smiled,"Thanks.""Alright, lets get to work."Opening the doors to the training room she flipped on the lights,"Lesson one on the sabers, they are not toys they are tools. Break them and I'll be really mad, so to start off with you'll be useing these wooden staffs."Tossing each of them the staffs she took one for herself,"There are eight fighting stances, since I'll most likely only loose one saber during a fight we'll just focus on learning on how to use one."Showing them each stances and positions she watched as the five did their best, walking around she helped them all improve. "Let the motions of the stances flow freely and smoothly, one motion should move smoothly inbetween each phase."She explained, Echo was growing frustrated."I know that this is hard but maybe you should sit this one out. You to Crossy!""Why?""Well seeing that your the sniper of the group you won't be anywhere near us. Therefore it's kind of pointless."She stated,"Right, that leaves Hunter, Wrecker and Tech to handle the sabers then. That's a load off my plate!"Crosshair said grinning,"Does that mean I get to taunt them and make them feel bad about how their doing?""Uh, no. Weilding a saber is hard to master, and since we don't have time to teach years of teaching we're really just cramming many years of knowledge down your throats in just a week or so."She watched as their faces pailed,"Too much?""Dude, info dump overload."Echo said rubbing his head,"You don't get to say anything in the matter."Hunter snapped,"Weilding the saber is almost like weilding a vibro sword or vibro knife. But has more complex steps and hand corrination."Carlina said, taking her saber out she demonstrated. Each stance flowing into the other and just for a few kicks and giggles she threw in some of her own style, one's she knew the masters would never approve of.""You make it look so easy."Wrecker complained,"It just takes practice.""We don't have time to master this, what makes you think we are capable of even holdig a saber?"Tech asked,"Because your my family, and I trust you with my life. A Jedi's weapon isn't just a weapon, it's our lifeline. The thing that connects us with the force. It is our greatest honor and duty to protect our sabers."Deactivating the blade she tossed one to Tech and one to Hunter, "Before you can weild the saber you must know how it works. Like all weapons even the saber can have issues, I will instruct you in how it is put together and how to take it apart without hurting the crystal."Useing the force she brought the sabers back to her, sitting on the ground she motioned all of them to gather around her.She slowly took apart the hilt of the saber laying each part down, she knew that everyone except Tech would be able to memorize this all in one setting. Once she had explained the parts she put the saber back together. Handing Hunter a saber she watched as he took it apart, he only needed help on a few parts but for the most part he did pretty good. Once the saber was back in her hands she handed it to Wrecker, he nervously held it in his big hands,"I really don't feel comfortable General, no offense but don't you think that Tech and Hunter will be much better at this?"She smiled,"You won't break it Wrecker and if you do I can always fix the hilt."He seemed to relax at her reasurassance. They turned when the doors opened,"Master Yoda!"She bowed,"Master Storm, trouble there is on Kaller. Master Billaba and her padowan in danger they are.""We will head there immediatly Master Yoda."He bowed and left the room,"Come on boys looks like we're shipping out!"Slipping her mask over her face Carlina grabbed her bags and case, she stepped out into the hall."Hunter!""General.""You ready for our next adventure Sargent?"He chuckled under his helmet,"General, everyday is an adventure.""Then lets not keep them waiting."Reaching the main hanger they walked up to the maurader where everyone was waiting,"Tech?""Everything is loaded and we are ready to depart whenever you are General.""Wrecker?""The explosives are all tied down and cataloged.""Very good, Echo?""The ship has been repaired including the hyper drive.""Crosshair?""Weapons cleaned and organized General."She smiled and nodded,"We don't know what to expect on Kaller so I want you all to keep your ears and eyes sharp and peeled.""Don't worry General, we have things under control if things get out of hand."Hunter said,"I know. I guess I'm just nervous."Crosshair put a hand on her shoulder,"Everything will be fine, besides we have you to lead us. If things get dicey we'll handle things the way we always do.""With no plan?""We always have a plan we just tend to do it in unconventional ways."Tech stated, smiling she pulled her shoulders back. "Master Yoda, come to say goodbye?""Indeed, go and may the force be with you."Bowing she stepped onto the ship, "Tech, make course for Kaller.""Already on it General."Carlina watched as the ship lurched into hyper space, little did they know the horrors that awaited on Kaller nor did they know of the evil forces already in motion.
