Plans and memories

Making plans for General Greivouses capture certainly was tiring, Carlina rubbed her neck and stretched. It felt like they were getting nowhere, it had been close to a month already since she had left Kashyyk to asist General Obi Wan. While getting to know the 212th had been fun on their adventures through the stars she wanted to go back to her squad. "You seem distracted General Storm, care to share your thoughts?"Master Windu asked,"Just thinking about my squad, I worry about them.""I've seen your squad in action and I think they can handle themselves till then do you think you could focus on the plans?"She sighed,"I'll try Master.""That's my girl, how about a stroll through the temple? As I remember that used to help clear your head."She smiled thankful that he had remembered, out of all the younglings she had certainly been the favorite. Walking the halls of the temple she thought back to the time when she had gotten terribly lost, "Well hello young one, you should be with the other younglings.""I'm afraid I'm lost Master, I got turned around and now I don't know where to go."The young master windu smiled kindly at the frightened child, taking her hand he started to lead her back to the youngling training room."I remember my first time getting lost young one, it happens to everyone. So there is no need to feel embarrised."His words had comforted her, as they walked her mind began to clear. Windu squeezed her hand,"I see that your mind has become clear young one, do you feel any better?""I do, thank you Master Windu!"Stopping in front of the room's door he let go of her small hand,"If you ever get lost just remember you have people to help you find your way back."Smiling at the memory she looked up and saw that Master Windu was also smiling,"After that encounter I swear you purposfully got lost Master Storm, but I do have to admit no other youngling was brave enough to befriend the Jedi.""Well as Obi Wan used to say I was quite the bold one!"He chuckled lightly,"Yes you were, you still are. I can tell just how much you miss your boys, rest assured you'll be seeing them soon."Her head perked up,"How do you know?""Call it a feeling, but for now lets just focus on what we have to do.""I understand Master, I'm sorry for being so distracted."Stopping he placed his hands on her shoulders,"You are a great asset in this war Carlina, even though you do not walk in the ways of the Jedi I beleive that in some ways you are more of a Jedi than I am."This surprised Carlina, she knew that out of all the masters Windu often seemed cold and distant. To admit to his own proudness was a majoy shock, "Thank you Master for beleiving in me.""I always will, my dearest friend."The sound of someone approching made them stiffen, putting on their serious faces they watched as Cody approched them,"Master Storm your pressence is needed on Kashyyk."He stated,"Why, what's happened?""There was an accident, Crosshair has been injured. Badly."Her heart sank,"Go, it would seem that you are needed elsewhere. I will inform Master Kenobi that you will no longer be a part of the plans, I will contact Master Yoda immediatly.""Thank you Master Windu.""May the force be with you young one."Bowing she and Cody quickly made their way to the main hanger, Windu watched as her cloak billowed behind her. Shaking his head he quickly made his way back to the meeting room, there was much to plan and do and so little time to do it.
