When Tech made sure all the men were okay he moved onto Sandra, she was patiently waiting on the hospital bed her legs swinging back and forth, clearing his throat he watched as a grin spread across her face."Tech, how are the men?""Been cleared for duty, once I get you all checked out you'll be free to head back with everyone else."Her face fell,"Right, back where I'm 'needed' trapped in that stupid temple with nothing to do but read."Tech looked at her,"I am well aware of who you are, and I've got to say I'm very interested in your backstory.""Oh well, you flatter me."She stuttered,"I'm being honest, I mean everyone else gets to go out and seeing that your not a temple guard. It makes me wonder just what your purpose is."Sandra stiffened, keeping herself in check she took a deep breath."You know if you wanted to know my back story you could have just asked me. Perhaps a date is in order?"Tech's head whipped up so hard he bonked heads with her,"Oh my stars i'm so sorry Sandra! Your comment surprised me that's all."She giggled,"Oh Tech, your so cute when your flustered. Will I take that as a yes?""Of course, but isn't that against your code?""Tech, this is a date between two friends. I'm not your ordinary Jedi, It's not like we're going to be kissing or anything. Just a casual date."He smiled,"Yeah, just a casual friend date."Looking her over he gave her a clean bill of health,"Other than your seat harness bruise your okay, if you feel sore or feel woozy in the next few days I suggest you come back here and I'll give you another look over."Sandra stood and hooked her saber to her side,"Don't worry Tech I know the protocals. About that date, how about tomorrow night? We'll be here till the ship is being repaired, maybe I can join ya on patrol tomorrow!""Yeah, sure. You can definatly come with me, hahaha.""It was nice talking with you Tech but I had better get some rest."Without thinking he opened the door for her,"Please allow me to show you to your room!""Tech, that's so sweet!"She said, Tech's stomach instantly erupted with a funny feeling. Almost like he was going to puke but at the same time not, "You okay Tech?""Yes i'm good everything is just peachy, why do you ask princess?""Princess?"She asked raising an eyebrow,"I am such a dork. Forget I said that, for my sake please don't tell anyone I slipped up.""Oh my stars, Tech do you have a crush on me?"She said nudging his arm, he fidgeted with a gadget on his com."I don't know."She frowned,"Tech I was kidding I hope you know that."He took a deep breath and gathered the courage to look at her. Her hands were clasped behind her back, her head held high. her curly red hair bounced up and down on her shoulders, and those emerald green eyes. She was the perfect picture of an angle,"Well, I beleive this is my room."She said, shaking his head Tech noticed she was stareing at him. His mind was blank his heart was raceing,"Right, well goodnight Captain.""Good night Tech."Crosshair and Carlina watched as Tech entered the room, his face was all red and he was silently muttering to himself."So, how did it go?"Carlina asked, Tech let out a love sick sigh and slid down the wall he had been leaning on."I've got a problem."He stated,"I told ya this would happen, just look at my poor brother. It's uncanny."Crosshair sneared, Carlina ignored his comment."I'm senseing a but in this situation."Tech nodded his head,"She and I are having a date tomorrow."Carlina and Crosshair looked at each other then back at Tech, "I don't approve of this."Crosshair drawled,"For once I agree with Crosshair, don't get me wrong Sandra is a lovely woman but when she gets upset or frustrated her powers tend to throw her in for a loop.""Powers?"Tech asked, he realized that instead of Carlina saying the force she had indeed said powers. Carling however wasn't fazed by her slip up,"She'll explain that tomorrow no doubt, but to make sure things are under control Crosshair and I should join ya for dinner."Tech groaned,"Could you two please stop treating me like I can't handle things on my own? It's bad enough I can't form actual sentences around her let alone feel the constant pressure of you two smothering me."Carlina raised her hands in surrender, "But fine, you can join me for dinner. Just don't think I'll be happy about it.""Don't worry, it's not like we're going to chase her off, right dear?""Yeah sure, whatever."He grumbled, Carlina clapped her hands together."Now if you'll excuse me I need to talk with my friend."Quickly giving Crosshair a kiss she made a hasty exit,"Where's the General running off to?"Hunter asked rubbing his eyes,"She said she had to talk to Sandra about a certain someone."Crosshair stated glareing at Tech, Hunter looked over and saw Tech's goofy grin. He couldn't help but laugh a little,"So our dear Tech and Crosshair have both fallen in love!""I'm not in love, I just happen to like someone."Tech stated pointing up at the ceiling,"Tech, your as red as the planet mustifar and your head is up in the clouds."Crosshair stated,"I know, I know. But how can you like someone if they don't like you back? I mean Sandra is a Jedi and I'm just a clone."Hunter smacked Crosshair upside the head,"What the hell was that for?"He grumbled,"Tech, if she likes you she'll like you for who you are.""But the whole Jedi code is what will keep us apart."He groaned,"Stop your groaning and man up Tech."Spat Crosshair, this made Hunter raise an eyebrow."If you like her that much you take that opportunity and chase it down. Cause the more you hold back the more she'll slip from your grasp."Hunter smirked,"Looks like lover boy here is going to be excellent when it comes to these sort of things."Tech huffed,"I don't need Crosshair, I've got facts and data that will make it so I know everything there is to know about love."This made Crosshair groan in frustration,"I think for Sandra's sake this date had better no go well."Carlina knocked on the door to Sandra's room,"Come in!"Rang the cheerful voice, opening the door Carlina saw the opposite of what Sandra's voice had portrayed. Sandra was paceing the floor scorch marks imprinted everywhere, quickly shutting the door Carlina walked up to her friend."You okay there Sandra?""No, I'm breaking the Jedi Code. I can't form attachments, this is so out of my comfort zone. How do i even begin to talk with him?"Grabbing Sandra by the shoulders Carlina slapped her,"Get a grip on yourself girl, we don't want you burning down the compound."Sandra looked around her,"Oops.""Look Sandra, do you like Tech?"She bit her lip,"How can I like someone if I don't know them?"Carlina smiled,"That's why you hang out with him, get to know him. Let him know that your interested.""Come on Carlina, this is silly. A clone and a Jedi, I'll be kicked out of the Jedi order."Placeing her hands on her shoulders Carlina looked at her friend who was biting her lip,"Look this is all up to you and him, if things don't work out then you can go back to the boring life you always had. Or you can make this work and be happy."Sandra sighed,"We'll see. I'm still not sure about this, but I'll give it a shot.""Atta girl, now lets talk dresses."
