Chapter 42 - Fun In The Sun

As it was a warm day Chloe had brougt Aubree and Isla a swimming pool and she was attempting to blow it up "mummy is it done?" Chloe looked at Aubree who had put her swimming costume on backwards and laughed "no, go ask daddy to come and do this" Aubree nodded and she ran into the house to Max who was making juice "daddy, mummy asked to do the simming pool" Max smirked as Chloe came in looking annoyed "this is your fault" Aubree giggled " daddy please".

Charlotte was sitting with some ice on her head when she received a text from Chloe -

Chloe - We've got the swimming pool out. Do you wanna bring the kids? Xx

Charlotte called Tom's name and he came into the kitchen "what?" Charlotte smiled "Chloe asked if we wanted to go over to her's and Max's, Chloe's got the swimming pool out" Tom nodded "I'll go and get the kids ready" Charlotte grinned and text Chloe back -

Charlotte - We'd love too. Be there soon! Xx

Chloe - Okay, See you in abit Xx

Charlotte grinned and she went to get ready.

Chloe had told Max that Charlotte, Tom and the kids were coming over and he said that he couldn't be doing with being surrounded around all the girls.

Aubree was getting impatient as the pool was taking forever "mummy! it's still small" Chloe rolled her eyes "blame daddy, he's not good at blowing" Max smirked and walked out to do the pool.

Charlotte and Tom arrived with the kids and Chloe let them in "Max is losing his patience over this pool" Charlotte grinned "this I'd pay to see" Chloe laughed "back garden".

Charlotte and Tom made their way into the back garden and Charlotte noticed Aubree lying on Chloe's sun lounger "what you doing?" Aubree giggled "being my mummy" Charlotte laughed and Chloe came out with Isla who had just woken up "hey sleepyhead" Isla hid her head on Chloe's shoulders "she's grumpy" Charlotte grinned "hasn't he done that yet?" Aubree looked up "no mummy, you said he's not good at blowing" Chloe burst out laughing "Aubs, you're cute" Aubree giggled.

Max had eventually got the pool up and Aubree went in straight away but Isla didn't want to so she sat with Chloe and Charlotte, Tom was taking TJ in the pool as he still couldn't go in unattended. Max had flat out refused to go in the pool so Chloe called him miserable to which he pulled her into him and kissed her.

It was nearing lunchtime so Chloe went inside to make hotdogs and Charlotte was helping her, Tom and Max were outside watching the kids in the pool "can Chloe cook?" Max smirked "well she hasn't poisoned me yet" Tom laughed "that doesn't fill me with much hope".

Chloe was attempting to cook but she wasn't that good at it "I am so not domesticated" Charlotte laughed just as Jacob came running in naked "mummy look!" Charlotte looked up to see Jacob running around with Taitlyn behind him "he's smaller than daddy's special area" Chloe had to try and not laugh "he's adorable" Charlotte laughed "yeah my handsome little guy".

Taitlyn was curious as to why Jacob's special area was smaller than her daddy's "daddy why is your special area bigger than Jacobs?" Tom frowned "Taitlyn, that's inappropriate" Taitlyn frowned "but daddy yours isn't like Jacob's" Tom stood with TJ in his arms "quit talking like that".

Chloe had managed to not burn the hotdogs so she walked outside and saw Aubree playing with Isla in the playhouse "what's going on?" Charlotte looked up "Taitlyn upset Tom by talking about his special area" Chloe nodded "I'll go and talk to her and Aubree" Charlotte smiled "thanks Chloe" Chloe walked over to Aubree and Taitlyn and took them into the house.

"Okay girlies, I've been told that you've been asking about special area's again and that isn't good" Taitlyn frowned "but why is Jacob's smaller than my daddy's?" Chloe sighed "because he's only a little boy" Taitlyn nodded "okay" Chloe looked at Aubree who was silent "Aubree, are you okay?" Aubree nodded "I think I am mummy" Chloe smiled "go on then, go play" Aubree and Taitlyn went outside and Max came in "is everything okay?" Chloe nodded "yeah, little girls and their mischief" Max smirked and kissed her.

Tom was standing outside with Chloe and they were talking "Tom, Taitlyn is three, she's bound to be curious" Tom sighed "I know but I'm still not feeling 100% about it" Chloe smiled "look, Tom. Charlotte loves you and she always will. It doesn't matter what you're like" Tom smiled "thanks Chloe" Chloe grinned and Max came over "is everything okay?" Chloe nodded "never better.

~ A Few Hours Later~

The kids were all getting tired so Charlotte and Tom decided to head home "thanks for having us" Chloe looked up from her lounger and grinned "no worries, you kept me sane" Charlotte laughed "I'll text you later" Chloe nodded "see ya". Tom and Charlotte left out the back gate and Chloe went back to sunbathing.

After Tom had made dinner he put the kids to bed and went downstairs "today was fun" Charlotte grinned "I know, Chloe managed to not burn food" Tom laughed and he began kissing Charlotte "let's go upstairs" Charlotte smiled "are you sure?" Tom nodded and took her upstairs. A few hours later Tom and Charlotte were in bed together "that was good" Charlotte laughed "yeah" Tom kissed her again "I love with all my heart" Charlotte smiled "I love you too" Tom kissed her again and they both fell asleep.

Chloe went up to bed around 11pm and she left Max downstairs. When he came up she was sitting on top of the duvet "are you alright?" Chloe shook her head "it's too hot" Max nodded and he undressed and climbed into bed and Chloe climbed under the duvet "I think you were nice today" Max smirked "only you know how nice I can be" Chloe grinned and kissed Max who turned the kiss into a passionate one. A few hours later they both fell asleep.
