It was nearing 2am in Scotland and Chloe was in bed with Max when all of a sudden there was a thunderbolt above the house which caused Chloe to shoot up "what the?" Max sighed "it's a storm" Chloe rolled her eyes "obvious much?" Max smirked and pulled Chloe back down next to him "not scared are you?" Chloe grinned "always have been scared of them" Max smirked again and started kissing her.
Charlotte was looking out the window at the thunder and lightning, she loved it. "Charlotte, come back to bed" Charlote turned to look at Tom "I will in a bit" Tom nodded and he went back to sleep.
Max and Chloe woke around 5am. Once they were both dressed they went downstairs "are you alright?" Chloe nodded "yeah, fine" Max smiled "good" Chloe grinned and she sat on the sofa. Max and Chloe were just about to leave for work when his phone rang -
Call Begins
Vaughn - Max, we have a problem
Max - What would that be?
Vaughn - There's no power at the school. The storm did some damage.
Max - Okay, contact all parents. Get Tom, Simon and Sonya to do the same. Chloe and I will contact them too.
Vaughn - Or, why doesn't one of us stand at the school gates and send letters home.
Max - That would work, get Sonya to print off the letters. Sign them.
Vaughn - Right.
Call Ends
Max hung up and looked at Chloe "school is closed today" Chloe looked up from her phone "why?" "The storm did some damage and caused a powercut" Chloe nodded "okay". Max left to take Aubree and Isla to nursery and playgroup so Chloe sat on the sofa watching Jeremy Kyle.
Charlotte was watching the kids play "mummy, why was there big bangs last night?" Charlotte smiled at Jacob "it was a storm. And by the looks of it there's gonna be another" Jacob frowned "I don't like them" Charlotte smiled "I'll be here to look after you" Jacob nodded and hugged Charlotte.
Aubree finished nursery soon so Max was going to pick her up "I might go and pick her up" Max smiled "I'll go" Chloe rolled her eyes "I'm sure I can manage" Max was about to speak when it started thundering "I take it back, you can go" Max smirked "I thought you were going to say that" Chloe grinned and pulled Max closer to her "I might make it up to you tonight" Max smirked and kissed her.
The storm was going on and Charlotte was sitting in the window watching the lightning "mummy, this is scary" Charlotte smiled "it's not" Taitlyn nodded "yes it is" Charlotte puck Taitlyn up "look at the sky" Taitlyn looked and she saw the lightning "that's pretty!" Charlotte grinned "see, Jacob come here" Jacob came over and he looked at the sky.
Chloe was sitting on the sofa when Max came back with a sleeping Aubree "how long has she been asleep?" Max smiled "fell asleep in the car" Chloe grinned and Max placed Aubree on the sofa next to Chloe "this storm is freaky" Max kissed Chloe and walked upstairs and Chloe put the fleece blanket over Aubree to keep her warm.
Tom was sitting in the kitchen marking when Lillie came toddling in "dada" Tom looked down and smiled "Lillie" Lillie giggled and she toddled back into the living room.
Chloe sat watching Aubree sleep and smiled as Aubree smiled in her sleep "everything alright?" Chloe nodded "never better" Max kissed "I should go fetch Isla" Chloe smiled and nodded.
When Max had gone Chloe decided to call her mum, she hadn't spoken to her in ages -
Call Begins
Rachel - Hello?
Chloe - Hiya mum, it's Chloe.
Rachel - Chloe! How are you love?
Chloe - I'm fine thanks. How are you?
Rachel - I'm great, How are the girls?
Chloe - They're fine. Aubree is asking about you
Rachel - I'd love to see them both
Chloe - Maybe we could meet up this weekend?
Rachel - I'd love too.
Chloe - Okay, I'll call you
Rachel - Okay love. Bye
Chloe - Bye
Call Ends
Chloe hung up and sighed "mummy? You talk nanny?" Chloe nodded and Aubree started crying "I miss her" Chloe sat Aubree on her lap "look, you're 5 next week and that means you're gonna be a big girl" Aubree pouted "I want to stay mummy's little girl" Chloe smiled "you always will be and mummy will always love you".
When Max returned Aubree was crying "what's wrong with her?" Chloe sighed "she doesn't want too turn five" Max frowned "why?" Chloe shrugged "ask her" Max nodded and walked over to Aubree "why don't you want to turn five?" Aubree looked up at her daddy "because I want to stay mummy's baby" Max smiled "you always will be" Aubree nodded "can I have a disney party?" Max nodded "if you're good girl" Aubree giggled "thank you daddy" Max smiled.
Charlotte was watching TV with the kids when Tom came in "fancy pizza for dinner?" Charlotte looked up and smiled "sure" Tom grinned and he ordered the pizza. The pizza arrived and Charlotte dished it up for the kids while she and Tom hate from the pizza box "spoke to Chloe today?" Charlotte smiled "we facetimed earlier, Aubree was sleeping" Tom grinned "she's a cute kid" Charlotte nodded "yeah when she's not being a madam" Tom laughed.
Max was washing up from dinner while Chloe bathed Aubree and Isla. Once Chloe had put them to bed Max poured them both some wine for when Chloe came back down "they're both asleep" Max nodded "here" Chloe took the glass from him and she sat with him on the sofa.
Tom and Charlotte put the kids to bed that night and they had an early night themselves. Once they were in bed Charlotte got snuggled under the duvet "today has been fun" Charlotte nodded "it has" Tom smiled and kissed her "I love you Charlotte" Charlotte grinned "I know. I love you too" Tom kissed her again and they both fell asleep.
Chloe went up to bed leaving Max downstairs. When she was in bed she checked her facebook and saw that Chlo had given birth to a baby boy named Ashley. Logging off she noticed that Max had came up "how long you been there?" Max smirked "not long" Chloe nodded and Max got undressed before he climbed into bed next to her " this storm was fun" Max nodded "indeed" Chloe grinned and he started kissing her "we do this everynight" Max nodded "I know, you love it" Chloe grinned. Eventually their kiss became heated and led onto something more. A few hours later they both fell asleep.
