Chapter 52 - Final Chance

A/N - So, Chloe's Secret Is Going To Happen Very Soon I'm Just Planning It.

This won't be a very long update.

Charlotte had decided to give Tom one final chance and if he messed up again then she would end it for good. She didn't want it to come to that but it's what she would do.

Chloe was cleaning up after Aubree and Isla had their breakfast and she put the radio on. She let out a grin when one of her favourite songs came on

Where did I go wrong?
I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up
With you all night
Had I known
How to save a life

Max came up behind her "beautiful" Chloe turned to him "you would say that" Max smirked and kissed her before he walked out the kitchen "daddy confuse me" Chloe laughed at Aubree "me too" Aubree giggled "Isla no" Chloe noticed that Isla was attempting to climb out of her highchair "ah, no" Isla pouted "I never did that mummy" Chloe smiled "no, you used to climb on windowsills".

Charlotte had text Tom and said for him to meet her at lunchtime. When she got a reply she saw that he agreed. "Eddie can you watch the kids? I have something to do" Eddie smiled "of course" Charlotte grinned "thanks".

Max was planning something for Chloe but he said that it was a surprise. Aubree was upstairs and Isla was standing on the sofa next to Max "you're up too something" Max smirked "so what if I am?" Chloe shrugged "I think you should tell me" Max nodded "is that right?" Chloe grinned "yeah, now spill" "no" Chloe groaned "you're sad".

Charlotte left the house and went to the beach. When she got there she saw Tom and he was bent over writing something in the sand so she walked over "what are you doing?" Tom stood and turned to Charlotte with a smile on his face "look" Charlotte looked down and she saw what Tom had written -

I'M  AN IDIOT. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! YOU'RE EVERYTHING TO ME. I HOPE YOU CAN FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO FORGIVE ME. I'D DO ANYTHING TO SHOW MY LOVE FOR YOU. ~ LOVE TOM.

Charlotte had tears flowing down her face "oh my gosh Tom! That was so sweet" Tom smiled "I know I've been an idiot but when you were gone it made me realise that I couldn't live without you or our kids in my life" Charlotte was crying "Tom I-" Tom interrupted her "I'd do anything to have you back and I mean anything" Charlotte smiled "I actually came to say that I'm giving you a final chance" Tom's eyes lit up "serious?" Charlotte nodded "yeah, I did a lot of thinking and I can't live without you and I don't want too but if you mess up then it's over for good" Tom nodded and he planted his lips onto hers in a passionate embrace "I missed you so much" Tom smiled "I want you and the kids to come back" Charlotte smiled "we will. I didn't know how much I missed you until you were gone" Tom grinned and pulled Charlotte into his arms and began passionatley kissing "we'll be together forever" Charlotte nodded "yeah" Tom kissed her again

Chloe was having no luck in finding out what Max was planning but she refused to give up. She knew she wouldn't get it out of Max but she knew someone who would "Aubree, do you wanna be mummy's little investigator?" Aubree looked up from her dolls "why?" Chloe grinned "because daddy is up to something and he won't tell mummy but he might tell you" Aubree giggled and Chloe continued "so, I need you to go and talk to daddy" Aubree nodded "okay mummy" Chloe grinned "don't tell daddy that I told you, you have to be a spy" Aubree giggled and nodded "okay mummy" Chloe kissed Aubree's head "if you can find out mummy will give you a chocolate" Aubree nodded.

Aubree went into the kitchen and over to Max "hi daddy" Max smiled "what are you doing?" Aubree giggled "I thinks I wants to know what you're doing" Max smirked "did mummy tell you to do this?" Aubree shook her head "no, I wants to know" Max nodded "where is your mummy?" Aubree shrugged "I not know" Max smirked "did she tell you to spy?" Aubree didn't know what to say "I thinks she did" Max nodded and walked over to Aubree and puck her up "I think that this didn't work out" Aubree pouted "but now I won't get my chocolate" Max smirked and gave Aubree a chocolate "thank you daddy".

Charlotte went over to Eddie and Rachel's to get her stuff and the kids. Eddie was fuming "he cheats on you and you go running back?" Charlotte sighed "Eddie, I love him. He's the father of my kids" Eddie rolled his eyes "he's gonna hurt you again" Charlotte frowned "if he does then it's over for good".

Chloe was sitting in the living room and Max came up behind her "your plan failed" Chloe looked up "what plan?" Max smirked "the plan in which you had our daughter try to get me to reveal what I have planned" Chloe grinned "would I do something like that?" Max nodded "you would" Chloe groaned "she failed?" Max nodded "she did" Chloe sighed "damn" Max sat with Chloe "she said you would give her chocolate if she managed to do so" Chloe nodded "I did" Max smirked "well she had one".

Eddie watched as Charlotte packed the kids up into the car "he'll hurt you again" Charlotte sighed "Eddie, I think he actually wants to make it work" Eddie scoffed "look if you need me, then call" Charlotte nodded "I will".

Tom was making dinner while Charlotte got the kids settled back in. While they were eating Tom spoke up "happy to be back?" Charlotte nodded "couldn't be happier" Tom grinned.

Chloe put the girls to bed and she went for a shower. When she was done she went downstairs to Max who came out the kitchen with two glasses of wine "what's this in aid of?" Max smirked "nothing" Chloe nodded "I don't believe you" Max took Chloe into the living room "you're lovely when you're like this".

Charlotte took the kids up to bed and she went to sit with Tom "I love you Clarky" Tom grinned and he began to kiss her, "I think we should make up for lost time" Charlotte laughed and they went upstairs.

Chloe wasn't giving up in finding out what Max had planned "tell me" "no" Chloe groaned "Max, come on" Max took Chloe's glass and started kissing her neck "are you going to drop this?" Chloe shook her head "no,I'm not" Max nodded and took Chloe upstairs "I think you should drop this" Chloe grinned "no". Max pushed Chloe onto the bed and began undressing her.

Tom and Charlotte lay in bed together "I remembered why I loved you" Tom laughed "thanks, I think" Charlotte grinned "so tired now" Tom kissed her and they fell asleep in each others arms.

Chloe pushed Max off of her "you should give up" Chloe grinned "no chance" Max smirked and he began kissing her again. Half an hour later Chloe fell asleep and Max sat watching her until he fell asleep.

A/N - Chloe's Secret will be starting very soon. I need to plan it first though.
