Chapter 65 - I Don't Remember You.

Charlotte was still in the coma and Chloe had been visiting everyday. Eddie had hardly left her bedside and when he did Chloe was always there. Tom hadn't visited much as he felt it was his fault Charlotte was in the coma.

That morning once Chloe had gotten Aubree into her school uniform she did her hair into pigtails "mummy, when can I see Charlotte?" Chloe smiled at Aubree "soon" Aubree nodded "okay".

Max was taking Aubree and Isla to school and playgroup while Chloe went to the hospital "mummy, can't you take me to school?" Chloe shook her head "no, I'm going to see Charlotte" Aubree pouted "okay" Chloe smiled and kissed Aubree's head and she watched as Max left with Aubree and Isla.

Tom arrived at the hospital just as Chloe did "what are you doing here?" Tom sighed and spoke "I wanna see my wife" Chloe rolled her eyes "why now? You've not bothered" Tom looked guilty "I'm sorry" Chloe shrugged "it's not me you should apologise to".

Entering Charlotte's room Chloe took a seat by the bed "how are the girls Chloe?" Chloe smiled at Eddie "they're great thanks, Aubree's a right little diva" Eddie grinned "that's good" Eddie looked at Tom "where are the kids?" "With a childminder" Eddie just nodded.

Max sat in the office when the office door knocked "come" the door opened and the girl who Chloe had been working with came in "do you know where Mrs Tyler is?" Max looked at Ashlyn "she's taking some time off, is there a problem?" Ashlyn sighed "I just need to talk too her about something" Max nodded "well  I'll pass on a message and she'll speak with you when she's back in" Ashlyn smiled and nodded "thanks sir" Max smiled and Ashlyn left

It was nearing lunchtime but Chloe didn't want to eat. Eddie had gone to get sandwhich's so it was just Chloe and Tom in the room but Chloe refused to acknowledge Tom. Eddie returned and he could sense the tension between Chloe and Tom "Chloe, eat" Chloe shook her head "I'm not hungry" Eddie sighed "you need to keep your strength up" Chloe reluctantly took the sandwhich and ate it.

_A Few Hours Later_

Chloe noticed it first. Charlotte's hand was moving "Eddie, look" Eddie looked over and Charlotte was opening her eyes "Charlotte, can you hear us?" Charlotte's eyes blinked "I'll go and get the nurse" Chloe nodded and she took Charlotte's hand "hey sleepyhead" Charlotte faintly smiled just as the nurse came in and began removing the tubes from Charlotte's mouth "how are you feeling?" Charlotte shrugged "like hell" Charlotte's voice was raspy and Eddie spoke "you tried to kill yourself, for a moment you were gone" Charlotte felt tears in her eyes and Tom spoke "you're alright though and that's the main thing" Charlotte looked at Tom "who are you? I don't remeber you" Tom frowned "I'm your husband, Tom" Charlotte shook her head "I don't have a husband" Chloe was shocked "do you know who I am?" Charlotte nodded "yeah, you're Chloe and he's Eddie my dad" Tom was upset "Charlotte, we have kids together" Charlotte nodded "I know about my kids"

The nurse had informed Chloe, Eddie and Tom that Charlotte had selective memory loss but it would come back to her. Chloe was just glad that Charlotte had woken up.

Tom realised that he could start fresh with Charlotte and they could fall in love again. When he took a step outside he saw Eddie walking towards him "when Charlotte is discharged I want her to come home with me" Eddie scoffed "are you being serious?" Tom nodded and spoke again "she's my wife, we need to make a go of our marriage" Eddie rolled his eyes "fine, I'll be staying with you. I need to make sure you don't upset her again" Tom nodded and he went home.

Chloe returned home to see that Max had fed and put the girls to bed "I'm sorry I wasn't here" Max smiled "it's fine, how's Charlotte?" Chloe grinned "she woke up but she doesn't remember Tom" Max sighed "how does he feel about that?" Chloe shrugged "I don't know, He's not happy" Max nodded and he and Chloe went to sit on the sofa.

Eddie had left with the promise that he would be back tomorrow with Rachel and Charlotte had told him she couldn't wait. Once Eddie had gone Charlotte fell asleep.

Chloe and Max went up to bed and Chloe groaned "problem?" Chloe grinned "I never realised how amazingly comfy this bed was" Max smirked as he climbed into bed next to her and he began kissing her neck. Max quit kissing her and they both fell asleep.

A/N ~ I need some ideas for Chloe, I wanna base the next couple of chapters on her.
