Chapter 9 - Chloe's Accident

Chloe had been having symptoms of pregnancy lately and she didn't know how she felt about that, she loved Aubree and Isla but she didn't know if Max wanted another baby. When she woke that morning she went downstairs to see Max sitting on the sofa "morning" Chloe had no idea how Max knew she had woken as he was engrossed in paperwork "morning" Chloe went to sit by Max on the sofa "are they still asleep?" Chloe nodded "yeah but I should get them up soon" Max looked at his watch and saw it was only 6am "leave them for another hour" Chloe nodded "I feel so sick" Max looked at her "anything to tell me?" Chloe frowned "what do you mean?" Max sighed "Chloe, talk" Chloe knew what he was hinting at "I'm not pregnant if that's what you're thinking" Max nodded but Chloe knew she could have been pregnant.

Max had gone for a shower so Chloe went to take the pregnancy test in the other bathroom. Once she was done she had to wait for the results. When the time was up she puck the test up and turned it over, she sighed it was positive, she would tell Max tonight.

Chloe had just woke Aubree and Isla up, both of them weren't happy about that "Mummy I didn't gets to finish my deam" Chloe grinned "you can finish it tonight" Aubree glared "no Mummy" Chloe rolled her eyes just as Max came up the stairs "Daddy, Mummy woked me" Max smirked and took Aubree downstairs while Chloe got Isla dressed.

Max was going to the school while Chloe was dropping Aubree and Isla off at playgroup and Nursery. Once both girls were at their places Chloe began the drive over to Charlotte's house.

When she got there she knew Tom would be at school, Charlotte opened the front door and she looked drained "are you okay?" Charlotte nodded "yeah, I'm fine, TJ has a loud set of lungs on him" Chloe smiled and took the baby boy from Charlotte, she got him to sleep "how did you manage that?" Chloe smiled "practise, Aubree kept me up everynight up until she was 4 months" Charlotte nodded "right" Chloe placed TJ into the moses basket "thanks for that Chloe" Chloe smiled "no worries, just rub his back while holding him, it's what worked with Aubree" Charlotte nodded "really?" Chloe grinned "it was Max who told me about doing that" Charlotte smiled "wow, maybe it works on TJ" Chloe nodded "I'm sure it will".

A couple of hours later Chloe left Charlotte's and she went to pick up Aubree from Nursery. When she got there she noticed it was tipping it down so Chloe got Aubree's coat and walked over to the doors where Aubree was "Mummy!" Chloe put Aubree's coat on her "come on, you're going over to Nanny's for a bit" Aubree grinned "yay".

Tom had returned home and it was quiet "what's happened? TJ is asleep" Charlotte grinned "Chloe came over, she got him to sleep, she also said to hold him and rub his back in order to get him to sleep" Tom smiled "well Chloe's a genius" Charlotte laughed "yeah" Tom looked at TJ who was asleep "he's so peaceful when he sleeps" Charlotte nodded "he's perfect" Tom kissed her "I never thanked you" Charlotte smiled "what for?" Tom grinned "for giving me three beautiful kids" Charlotte smiled "Tom, you don't need to thank me" Tom pulled Charlotte onto the sofa and they snuggled up together.

Chloe dropped Aubree off at her Mum and Eddie's and she got into her car and began the drive to go and pick Isla up. While she was driving she felt a wave of pain in her stomach but before she could do anything a car crashed into the passenger side of her car sending everything black.

Max sat in his office working on paperwork when his phone rang, looking he saw it was Isla's playgroup -

Call Begins

Max - Max Tyler speaking?

Playgroup - Is this Isla Tyler's father?

Max - Yes, is there a problem?

Playgroup - Yes, the playgroup ended half an hour ago but no-one has turned up to collect Isla.
