Zavala asked Cy if they remembered anything since becoming a guardian.
Yet, Cy only explained to Zavala that all he knew was in this booklet. That he found the booklet where he had been killed. Zavala asked to see the tiny booklet, and when he looked over the dates he was even contemplated what he'd say next.
Zavala gave Cy back the old booklet. Then he began to explain how he knows Cy, or at least how he and the vanguard knew him.
That Cy was a formidable foe among many planets his vanguard traveled to.
That he'd killed many guardians.
This is news to Cy, since he only assumed that he'd had tried to kill those guardians in the past before his death, and any further guardians since his hire for the Fallen House of Loss.
But, Cy didn't realize that even before his death, he was killing guardians.
Zavala shows Cy an old data file stored away.
A holographic diagram of a large exo bot, very similar to Cy standing tall with talon like fingers and a gun attached to their other arm, with the same horns and visor.
Cy studied the diagram, and he does notice the similarities.
But, Cy questions if he is his only kind, if there is more of him.
Zavala questions this to, unsure if Cy's strange model maybe part of an entire set.
Yet Zavala explains that the dangerous Vex bot disappeared some time ago, and though they were tracking it, it's just all to convenient now that he's learned Cy was dead for some time. But Zavala admits that it's strange that the booklet is far older than even himself, and yet he met the dangerous robot in their early years of the tower just being finished.
Though they presumed that this robot was time traveling, since it was more advanced than any Vex they'd ever seen, which was why they are targeting it so heavily as a threat.
Zavala says they have a piece of it's armor and will do a test to see if Cy matches the armor.
But, Zavala makes it clear that he doesn't want Cy in the vanguard. Not only because he's not sure if he can trust this robot, if its just a ruse to get in, but why the Traveler would pick such an enemy to join their ranks.
Zavala as inquires to Cy and Taurus-4 that some guardians will give Cy trouble, since he was once their enemy, and had killed many guardians that encountered him.
Cy frustration grows, but he doesn't say anymore, leaving Zavala and Taurus-4.
He has a lot to think about, now that he knows that he could be this dangerous being the past, or future?
It's all to much, and Cy feels like he made a mistake coming here.
Even if that monster was him, why was he killing guardians?
The booklet made it sound like he was a good man, but was he really.
Were any of them good?
Cy leaves the Tower swiftly with his ghost.
Though his ghost tries to reassure him that there is no way that monster could be him, the Traveler wouldn't pick that bad of a person.
