Lighthawk knew he was at a disadvantage compared to Princess Vulkra. He remembered the days of being trained by her, having four arms and even then so struggling.
However he had plenty of time these days with fighting guardian to hone his craft. But, unlike others, Vulkra knew his fighting style and was no surprised when Lighthawk used various spears from his fallen foes, along with using a broken chest lid as a shield to block her incoming attacks!
The two ere clashing well against each other, with Ligthawk grabbing her own spear, despite the shock it was sending to him and snapping it!
He used the broken tip as a dagger to slash at her before kicking her way.
Even when Vulkra towered over him, he still had enough strength to knock her back.
"Ha, just like the good old days!" Though her chipper clicks and calls to him became enraged.
As she swung one of her blades at him, Hawk dodged it!
"Why didn't you come back, you should have fought him! You should have proved yourself to father. You coward! WHY?!"
As Hawk listened to her yelling at him, he knew she was made that he didn't stick up to her father and fight for his place among them when he was banished. Hawk wondered this too, but felt that Red Maw was trying to push Hawk down a path he had been running from instead of confronting it. He never though once that the Fallen Captain did it out of fear and hate.
As the two clashed, Lighthawk correct Vulkra that he wanted to, for their people and for her, but he needed to learn to control his powers.  But even then, Vulkra hit hard with all her anger, and thrusted Lighthawk back! "And yet, you still cant control it can you!" She'd catch Lighthawk by the leg and knock him down.
About to punch Lighthawk, the exo blocked the first punch with his arms before grabbed her first and rolling over with her. Hawk kicked her away mid roll before grabbing for another spear to stab her way, which she deflected with her wrist band.
However, this whole time they were fighting, Vulkra hadn't noticed what Hawk was truly doing.
And finally, lighthawk mentioned his apology to the princess before standing. Leaving Vulkra confused.
Lighthawk summoned his arc powers, though out of control, he knew that by using the fallen spears to make a sort of conductive circle, he'd be able to at least have the arc energy surge in a confined spot.
Unleashing the wild power, Vulkra realized she was in the middle of the circle!
Lighthawk watched as his arc energy surged all through the spears and blasted around, shocking Vulkra in the middle! Though Hawk knew she could handle it, and once she passed out he stopped.
Hawk dropped to his knees exhausted with such wild energy. Again, his hand felt like it was going to burst. But, Hawk stood slowly, grabbing for his cache and leaving.
None of the Fallen from House Loss followed or tried to stop him, on orders of the Princess per their dueling rules.
However they did tend to their knocked out Princess. Leaving Lighthawk to escape and take back what is his, even with a sad feeling that he may never see them again and had wished it ended on better terms.
Returning to the shop though, Hawk began breaking down his Skraptar and noticed that within it was a piece of strange rock. He remembered getting the stones from Red Maw himself as a gift for his efforts. However he forgot he used them to stabilized the Skraptar, and now he wondered if he could use them to stabilize his powers within himself. There was only one way to find out.
