╰┈➤ the previous night was tiring so y/n wasn't that surprised at the fact that she slept through her alarm. a line of sunlight cast over her face from a crack of her blackout curtain and she sat up with a groan. she checked her phone, seeing that there was a text from her dad.
dad🩶---> y/n: good morning, n/n. if you're free today, I'd appreciate some help at the shop :)
y/n --> dad🩶: of course. I'll be there within the next hour

"you already took care of that R1?" her father asked with an impressed tone. y/n smiled, nodding as she grabbed the keys to her car. "that was the last bike that needed to get fixed today. im gonna work on my car now since im actually starting to miss it." she frowns, walking towards the garage door to exit the lobby. "y/n are you sure that you didn't want to report him to the police? i mean, that's attempted murder. who knows what would've happened if-" her father was cut off when y/n shook her head.
"I'm okay, dad. that's all that matters right now." she tried to give him a reassuring smile but his frown only deepened. "you know you're all I've got left so you gotta take care of yourself for us both, n/n." he smiled, walking towards her to place a hand on her shoulder. y/n pushed down the taste of bile that was rising up from her stomach at her fathers words and plastered on a full smile accompanied with a light chuckle. "i know, dad. i promise. enough of the sad stuff now." she gave him a warm hug and he rolled his eye's at her attempt of a scolding tone. "i'll be in the back doing some work. let me know of you need anything, okay?"
y/n gave him a firm nod and she turned to walk into the garage, as she heard the receding steps of her dad's heavy shoes. y/n picked up the nearby box that contained the new break line that she ordered a few days ago. her car was already on the car lift and before she can get under it to begin working, she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, notifying her of a call. she was about to ignore it, not in the mood to speak to anyone until it rung again. she pulled it out of her pocket, seeing suna's contact name pop up.
