Jungkook's laughter echoed through the corridor, fueling Y/N's growing irritation as he teased her relentlessly about the chewing gum incident with Taehyung. "Jungkook, seriously? Why did you even give me that gum? And if you did, you could have at least reminded me to throw it out," she whined, her voice laced with frustration.
Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at her accusation, finding her melodramatic response amusing. "Forgive me, Princess. It's all my fault. You did nothing wrong. You were just innocently chewing on that poor gum," he said sarcastically, unable to contain his amusement.
Y/N rolled her eyes at his response, her irritation growing with each step they took. "Easy for you to say," she muttered under her breath, crossing her arms in a huff.
As they continued walking, Y/N's frustration bubbled over. "I try to be a good student, but it's like trouble finds me wherever I go. How am I supposed to survive under Taehyung's sir intimidating gaze?" she lamented her voice tinged with worry.
Then, with a dramatic sigh, she turned to Jungkook with a mock-serious expression. "If I ever keel over from the sheer terror of his stern glare, promise me you won't miss me too much," she said, her tone playful but tinged with genuine concern. Despite her childishness, there was a hint of vulnerability in her words, revealing her underlying fear of Taehyung's anger.
Jungkook's laughter subsided as he listened to Y/N's melodramatic rant, but his expression softened with a hint of seriousness. "Hey, I get it, but you've gotta be more alert in the future," he advised, his tone gentle yet firm. "Hyung is no joke when he's upset, and you don't want to end up on his bad side again."
But, quickly changing the subject to lighten the mood, he invited her to come to his home. "Hey, why don't you come over to my place? It's the weekend, so we can chill and watch some movies together."
Y/N hesitated, her brows furrowing. "Hmm, sounds tempting, but sir will be there, won't he? I'm not sure if I can handle his strict gaze again. I'd rather avoid him altogether."
Rolling his eyes playfully, Jungkook teased, "Oh, come on, Y/N. Don't be such a scaredy-cat. He's not going to bite!
Y/N pouted, playfully swatting Jungkook's arm. "Hey, it's not my fault! he just has this intimidating aura around him. I can't help but feel like a deer caught in headlights whenever he looks my way."
Jungkook chuckled at his dramatic friend's antics, finding her playful exaggeration both amusing and endearing. "But hey, I heard Taehyung and Namjoon hyung both have a meeting planned for today. So,he might not even be home."
"And also, your favorite, Jimin hyung, is also home," Jungkook said teasingly, making Y/N blush a little.
"He was also asking about you," Jungkook added with a mischievous grin, knowing it would make Y/N even more flustered.
While trying to conceal her flustered expression, she replied, "Okay, fine. But only if you promise that Taehyung sir is not home."
Jungkook gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, he won't be home. He mentioned he had some work stuff to take care of, so it'll just be us.
Jungkook leaned in with a grin, "So, what genre of movie are you in the mood for?"
Y/n's face lit up with excitement, "Horror! I'm in the mood for some thrills and chills!"
"Horror it is then," Jungkook replied, mirroring her enthusiasm. He couldn't help but tease, "But hey, no clinging to me if you get scared, okay?"
Y/n shot him a playful glare, her lips quirking into a mischievous smile, "Please, I'd hug a ghost before I hugged you!"
Jungkook laughed, enjoying their banter. "Challenge accepted! Let's see who's braver by the end of the movie!"
Upon arriving at y/n's hostel, Jungkook turned to her with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Alright, no more bland hostel food tonight. What's your craving? We can either have the cooks whip something up, or we could order in from outside. Your call."
Y/n paused, considering her options for a moment before her eyes lit up. "Pizza and burgers sound perfect!"
Jungkook grinned. "Pizza and burgers it is! I'll get them ordered while you freshen up. Meet me at my place, and we'll dig in as soon as you're ready."
After parting ways, y/n practically skipped to her room, brimming with excitement. Bursting into her cozy space, she rummaged through her wardrobe, pulling out her favorite oversized hoodie and a pair of comfy leggings, the perfect ensemble for a chilled-out evening.
As she emerged from her room, her phone began to buzz, and her face lit up as she glanced at the caller ID. It was her mom, her beacon of comfort and understanding. With a delighted grin, she answered the call, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm. "Hello, Momma! How are you?"
Her mother's warm voice echoed through the line. "I'm good, sweetheart. But how's my baby girl doing?"
Y/n sighed dramatically. "You won't believe what happened today! Remember I told you about Jungkook's big brother, Taehyung? Well, he's our new math teacher, and he's so strict! It's like he's got eyes in the back of his head, Momma!"
Her mother's laughter echoed through the phone, a sound that grated on Y/n's nerves. "Ah, Taehyung, huh? Your school's co-owner and now a teacher too? Sounds like he means business!"
Y/n sighed, feeling a little exasperated. "Well, He scolded me again! He's like Hitler, Momma, always intimidating everyone with those scary eyes of his."
Her mother couldn't help but laugh. "Oh dear, what did you do to catch his attention?"
Y/n pouted, feeling unfairly judged. "Mom, it's not always my fault, you know!"
Her mom teased, her tone exaggeratedly dramatic. "Oh, my poor innocent little troublemaker! How could anyone scold my little angel? Give me his number, and I'll give him a piece of my mind!"
Y/n sighed, resigned to her mom's playful banter. "Okay, Mom, I'll let you know if he gives me any more trouble."
Y/n's mom's voice softened with concern as she inquired, "Sweetheart, have you eaten yet?"
Y/n chuckled, knowing her mom's worry about her eating habits. "Mom, don't worry! I'm heading to Jungkook's place to watch movies. We'll eat there."
Her mom sighed, accustomed to her daughter's carefree attitude toward meals. "Y/n, you know how important it is to eat properly. Don't forget to have a good meal, okay? And don't just fill up on snacks!"
Y/n laughed, reassured by her mom's familiar nagging. " Mom, I'll eat properly. Don't worry about me too much. Jungkook must be waiting for me. Okay, I'll talk to you later. Bye!"
With a mixture of affection and concern, her mom bid her goodbye, hoping she would remember to eat amidst the excitement of her movie night at Jungkook's.
