The chilly Saturday evening was alive with laughter and playful bickering as Y/N and Jungkook battled it out in the garden, their badminton match drawing the attention of a few guards nearby. The guards chuckled as they watched the two kids exchange sharp comebacks between serves, their competitive spirits lighting up the cold weather.

"Short legs!" Jungkook teased, effortlessly returning her shot with a cheeky smirk. "Are you sure you can reach the shuttle? Maybe I should lower the net for you!"

"You're getting so tall all of a sudden, Kookie!" Y/N huffed, glaring at Jungkook as he effortlessly returned her smash with a flick of his wrist. "I swear, last month we were the same height. What are you eating, huh?"

Jungkook smirked, raising an eyebrow as he teasingly stretched his arms upward. "It's not what I'm eating, Y/N. It's called growing up, little one." he teased, his grin wide and mischievous.

Y/N's face turned red with a mix of frustration and embarrassment. "I'll show you growing up!" she muttered, smashing the shuttlecock with all her strength, determined to wipe that smirk off his face.

Jungkook chuckled, dodging the shuttlecock easily. "Relax, shorty! Getting mad won't make you grow taller," he said, his voice dripping with mock sympathy.

"Ugh! Stop calling me that!" Y/N fumed, her eyes narrowing as she focused even harder on the game.

The guards watching from a distance couldn't help but laugh, enjoying the spirited exchange. Meanwhile, Y/N's sweater lay forgotten on the bushes, flapping in the wind as she threw her entire focus into defeating Jungkook.

The intensity of their game was momentarily interrupted by a loud sneeze from Y/N. She sniffled but quickly wiped her nose with her sleeve, trying not to show any weakness.

"Bless you," Jungkook teased, returning the shuttlecock with ease. "But maybe you should take a break before you catch a cold?"

"Never!" Y/N exclaimed, hitting the shuttlecock back with all her might.

At that moment, Taehyung stepped out of the house, his sharp eyes scanning the scene. He was on his way to the garage to grab his car for some errands when the sight of Y/N's sweater hanging on the bushes caught his attention. Frowning, he turned his gaze toward the garden, where the two kids were engrossed in their game.

Taehyung sighed heavily, shaking his head. "This girl..." he muttered, picking up the sweater . Without hesitation, he walked toward them, his authoritative voice cutting through the playful atmosphere.

"Don't you think it's enough playing for now?" he called out, his tone firm.

Startled, Y/N nearly missed the shuttlecock, spinning around to face Taehyung. She quickly bowed slightly, a sheepish look on her face. Jungkook, however, groaned dramatically.

"No, Hyung! It's Saturday! Let us play a little longer, please!" Jungkook pleaded, his puppy eyes in full effect.

Before Taehyung could respond, Y/N sneezed again, louder this time, drawing his sharp glare. His eyes zeroed in on her, taking in her shivering frame and flushed cheeks.

"Are you feeling too hot, Y/N?" he asked sarcastically, raising an eyebrow. His tone was laced with a mix of annoyance and concern, making Y/N shift uncomfortably under his gaze.

Y/N stiffened, caught off guard by his tone. She glanced around nervously, trying to come up with an excuse. "I—I had my sweater, Sir," she stammered, her voice raspy as she tried to hold back another sneeze.

Taehyung stepped closer, holding up her sweater with a pointed look. "You mean this? The one you thought would stay warm on the bushes?" he said, his tone laced with disapproval.
