The sun had barely risen, yet the house was already bursting with noise.

"Hyung! Where's my cap?!"

"Sirrrr! Can I take two bottles of soda with me? Please? I swear I won't drink it all at once!"

Taehyung stood in his room, blinking slowly as he stared at the two whirlwinds running from one room to another like caffeinated squirrels. Y/N and Jungkook were both fully dressed — backpacks bouncing, sneakers tied tight, and eyes sparkling with way too much excitement for 7:30 in the morning.

Jungkook wore a lemon yellow hoodie over a black graphic t-shirt, paired with loose cargo pants that had more pockets than necessary. His cap — the one he just couldn't find two minutes ago — now sat backwards on his head, and his sneakers were already a bit muddy from sprinting around the house since dawn.

Y/N, on the other hand, looked like walking sugar rush. She was dressed in a cherry red jumpsuit with a cartoon bunny patch stitched over the chest pocket and a white mini-backpack shaped like the same bunny. Her hair was up in two high messy buns, and she had heart-shaped sunglasses perched on her head like a crown.

"TA-DAAA~!" she squealed, throwing jazz hands in the air. "We're READY!"

Taehyung blinked once. Twice.

"It's 7:30," he deadpanned, eyes narrowing. "Why are you dressed like we're boarding a spaceship?"

"We couldn't sleep!" Jungkook grinned. "Y/N texted me at 4:30 AM saying she was already up!"

"I even had time to paint my nails!" Y/N added proudly, flashing her fingers like a celebrity on a red carpet.

"Who gave you both sugar before sunrise?" Taehyung muttered.

"No one," Y/N said sweetly. "Just life and excitement."

Taehyung took a long breath and pointed a finger between them. "Listen carefully. We are not leaving before 10."

Two horrified gasps echoed down the hallway.

"Ten?!" Jungkook cried.
"BUT THAT'S PRACTICALLY LUNCH!" Y/N screamed like she was being exiled from joy.

"We'll waste all the good hours of sunlight!" she added, clutching the hallway wall like it betrayed her.

"We'll miss the short lines!" Jungkook argued.

"We'll miss the waffles shaped like animals!" Y/N wailed.

Taehyung turned slowly, like a teacher about to deliver judgment. "We're wasting my peace."

"And who said we're skipping breakfast at home?" he added sternly, folding his arms.

"But we decided we'll eat at the amusement park," Y/N replied quickly.

Taehyung narrowed his eyes. "We decided?"

"Yeah!" Y/N said innocently, pointing to Jungkook. "Me and Kookie decided."

"Did I agree to that?" Taehyung asked.

Both kids stared at him with the same expression: 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️

"No," he said, answering his own question. "I didn't."

"But—"
"Downstairs. Now."

"But—!"
"NOW."

With cartoonish groans and exaggerated dragging of their feet, the two kids shuffled down the hallway like prisoners on death row.

"Ughhhh I hate mornings," Y/N whined.
"You love mornings," Jungkook replied.
"I used to, before Voldemort ruined them," she mumbled under her breath.
