It was nearly 4 in the evening, and the quiet of the room was punctuated by the gentle sounds of care and companionship. Taehyung, his expression soft yet concerned, sat on a chair beside Jungkook's bed, methodically slicing apples into bite-sized pieces. Jungkook, nestled comfortably against the pillows, savored each bite, the sweetness of the fruit a small comfort amidst his fatigue.
Beside Jungkook, Jimin balanced multitasking with finesse, his attention divided between the laptop in front of him and a half-eaten apple slice tucked into his cheek. Across the room, Yoongi and Namjoon sat together on the couch, poring over paperwork with a shared intensity.
Taehyung's voice, gentle yet tinged with a hint of scolding, broke the peaceful ambiance. "That's why we always remind you to eat healthy, Kookie," he chided lightly, eyes flickering with affectionate concern. "Look at you now, suffering because you don't listen."
As Taehyung playfully scolded Jungkook for neglecting his health, a soft knock on the door interrupted the moment. Jimin, with his usual cheerfulness, called out, "Come in, it's open!"
Y/n stood nervously at the doorstep, clutching her bag tightly as she peered into the room filled with people. Her heart raced as she awkwardly let out a small "Hi," waving her hand slightly. Jimin, smiling warmly, greeted her, "Hi Y/n, you came to see Jungkook?" Y/N nodded faintly in confirmation, prompting Jimin to add, "Then come inside, why are you standing there?"
Encouraged by Jimin's welcoming gesture, Y/n finally stepped into the room, bowing slightly towards Namjoon and Yoongi, who greeted her with friendly smiles. "Ahh, Y/n, finally I meet you," Namjoon exclaimed warmly, "I've heard a lot about you." Y/n blushed, feeling a mix of curiosity and nervousness about what Namjoon might have heard.
As she moved towards Jungkook, who was smiling warmly at her, she asked softly, "How are you, Kookie?" Jungkook replied with a gentle smile, "I'm good now, Y/n. Come sit here," he said, patting the bed beside him.
Taehyung, noticing her nervousness, gently inquired, "How was school, Y/n?" She replied softly, "It was okay, sir. We didn't create any trouble." Taehyung nodded approvingly, "Good job."
After a while, Y/n's initial shyness melted away, and the room was filled with her bright energy as she shared silly stories, making everyone laugh. Namjoon chimed in with a warm smile, "Y/n, you don't have to call us 'sir,' just keep that for Taehyung. "
Jimin added teasingly, "Yeah, Y/n, no need to be formal. Call Namjoon hyung 'Ahjussi' and Yoongi hyung 'grandpa'," causing everyone in the room to burst into laughter, except for Yoongi.
Soon, another knock was heard on the door, followed by Ji-Won, who had brought a steaming bowl of vegetable soup for Jungkook. The scent of the freshly cooked vegetables filled the room. Taehyung took the bowl from her hands with a nod of thanks as she quietly exited the room, closing the door behind her.
Taehyung turned back to Jungkook, who was sitting up in bed, surrounded by pillows. "Here, Kookie, have this," he said, holding out the bowl of soup.
