Jungkook and Y/N were engrossed in a heated game of basketball with their friends on the school playground. Their bags lay scattered on the ground nearby, forgotten in the excitement of the match. Laughter and friendly banter filled the air as they dribbled and shot hoops, fully immersed in the joy of the game.
As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow over the playground, the streetlights flickered to life, signaling the approaching twilight. Yet, amidst the fading light, their energy only seemed to intensify, each player determined to outmaneuver the other in the game.
As twilight descended, a group of kids approached the basketball court, appearing only slightly older than Jungkook, Y/N, and their group, their swagger hinting at their seniority. Suddenly, one of them snatched the basketball right from the midst of Jungkook, Y/N, and their friends, causing them to pause mid-game, their expressions shifting from confusion to annoyance.
The boy who snatched the ball sneered at them. "Look, kids, it's our turn now. You little ones should scram," he said, tossing the ball up and catching it with a smirk.
Y/N's temper flared as she stepped forward, her fists clenching. "Why should we leave? We were here first, and there's plenty of space for everyone. Give us back our ball," she demanded, her voice tinged with anger.
The senior boy laughed mockingly. "Oh, looks like we've got some brave ones here," he taunted, tossing the ball between his hands. "Why don't you come and get it, huh?"
Jungkook stepped beside Y/N, his stance defiant. "You heard her. Give it back, or we'll take it back," he warned, his voice firm.
As tension mounted, Y/N's friends gathered around, backing up Jungkook and Y/N. They were outnumbered but undeterred.
The senior boy's grin widened, sensing the brewing confrontation. "You think you can take it from me?" he jeered, his tone dripping with arrogance.
Without hesitation, Y/N lunged forward, aiming to snatch the ball from his hands. But the senior boy was quick, sidestepping her effortlessly. Laughter erupted from his group as he teased, "Too slow, kiddo!" one of them pushed making her stumbled backward from the force of the push, but Jungkook was there in an instant, catching her before she fell. His eyes blazed with fury as he saw the senior boy's mocking smirk.
Jungkook immediately caught her, his expression turning furious as he steadied her.
Without a second thought, Jungkook lunged forward, grabbing the boy by the collar and delivering a punch straight to his face. "How dare you push her!" he growled, his voice thick with anger.
The senior boy staggered back, clutching his nose in pain, while his friends looked on in shock. Y/N's friends erupted into cheers, rallying behind Jungkook and Y/N.
As the scuffle intensified, the clash of bodies and the thud of punches filled the air, mingling with the raucous cheers of the spectators. Y/N found herself locked in a tussle with a girl from the senior group, using wrestling moves amidst the chaos.
In the midst of the frenzy, a sharp impact sent a jolt through Y/N's body as her mouth grazed the ground, the taste of copper flooding her senses. A faint trickle of blood oozed from the corner of her lips, but in the heat of the moment, her rage overshadowed any pain or discomfort.
Taehyung and Jin exited the school building, deep in conversation about an upcoming event they were organizing, they were interrupted by the sudden appearance of a breathless student.
"Sir, some students are fighting in the school ground!" the student blurted out, his words rushed and urgent.
Taehyung's expression immediately shifted to one of concern, his brows furrowing as he processed the information. "Where are they?" he asked, his voice commanding yet tinged with worry.
