y/n and agent 4 entered the grate that they were standing above.

Octoling Strike
~Riot in the Reef~
in the level, there were smaller versions of zapfish and octolings scattered across the level.
marie: octolings! wait those are... mini zapfish. apparently eight mini zapfish combined have the power output of one normal zapfish.
y/n: get all the mini zapfish? got it!
charging forward. the two of them make quick work of an octoling and get the first mini zapfish easily.
marie: good. we'll have 8 in no time.
agent 4: wait i've got a big brain idea. let's split up, so we can get all the zapfish lickety-split!
marie: that's not a good ide-
y/n: are you kidding me?! that's a GREAT idea!
agent 4: mhm! i know it is!
he goes forward while 4 goes to the left, and just a couple of steps forward an octoling pops up out of some ink which startles him, and before he could react the octoling starts to open fire.
marie: y/n! NOOOOO! I knew you should've stayed with 4!!!
voluptuous octoling: HAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!! die! you stupid son of a squid!
she keeps shooting him until she runs out of ink. and he just looks at her with an unamused face while raising his weapon.
marie: oh... your fine, thank cod!
voluptuous octoling: haha! hey buddy i-it was j-just a j-joke, were a-all friends here!
the octoling starts to back away with her hands raised and before she could make a run for it he splats her.
y/n: being invincible to their attacks is kinda overpowered.

He has just managed to get 7th mini zapfish and after turning a corner he sees 4 struggling with getting the last mini zapfish due to there being an elite octoling gaurding it.
y/n: need help?
agent 4: NO!!! i got this!
marie: The one's with kelp on their head are extra tough. show them no mercy, 4!

4, fucking dies right before his eyes, but thankfully she respawns shortly after.
agent 4: .... Y/N!!! go kill that bitch!
she says while angrily pointing at the octoling that killed her.
saucy octoling: aww, you can't kill me yourself so you send your... strange looking boyfriend to come get me!
4 was now completely red, not just because she was blushing but also because she was absolutely steaming.
y/n: i don't look wei-
he stops talking once he sees, 4, super jump and do a splashdown straight onto the octoling, which the octoling failed to dodge.
agent 4: that's right bitch!
