I'm tossing and turning in my bed, worry clouding my thoughts. I'm thinking, we both need closure. We need to rip the band aid off.
I sit up. I look at my clock. It's half past midnight.
I can barely feel myself walk to my phone.
I can barely hear the telltale chime of my phone turning on.
I can barely see the message popping up on the notification screen.
