Ethan paced back and forth, running his hands through his hair, causing it to stick straight up.

"Why haven't you told her?" Daniel asked him.

"She's been stressed out. She's had her entire life ripped apart, destroyed by this rogue that I cannot find. She no longer has a car. She has a broken wrist. I have yet to see her face not covered in bruises. She didn't even know werewolves were real until Sunday and now you want me to dump on her the fact that I'm a Prince?" He was stressed about it.

"It's who you are, Ethan."

"I'm aware but I just don't want to overwhelm her," he growled, annoyed.

"You wait too long and she's going to be mad at you for not telling her. Have you told her about your immortality?"

"No."

"Have you told her that she could become a werewolf?"

Ethan sighed. "No." She hadn't asked either.

"You haven't marked her, have you?"

"No Dad, I haven't done that." He wouldn't either, until she knew everything. If she wanted to walk away at that point, it would make life extremely difficult for him, knowing constantly how she was feeling, when she was aroused, when she was having sex with someone else. He might go insane.

"Have you had sex with her?"

He was a bit annoyed that he was having this conversation with his own father. "Do you really need to know that?"

"You don't have to tell me, but it's going to make it more difficult for you if she decides she doesn't want this, if she doesn't know the full truth. You need to just tell her."

"I know, I know." It had been at the back of his mind all week.

"If you're waiting for the perfect moment there will never be a perfect moment. You just have to do it."

"Okay, I will." He wasn't angry with his dad at all, just annoyed that this could so easily cause him to lose her. For a brief second, he wished he was a human and didn't have the complications this relationship was causing. 'Sorry Maverick. I really don't wish that either. I'm just stressed about all of this.'

Ethan?

His brother's voice in his head startled him. "Why is Isaac mind linking me right now?"

"He didn't tell you he was coming to Texas?" Daniel asked in surprise.

"No, I thought he was still in Greece."

"He came home early. Athena dumped him."

Ethan grimaced but he wasn't completely surprised. He'd only met her once and he wasn't crazy about her. "I thought they were going to take each other as chosen mates."

"They were going to but she found her fated mate."

"Seriously?"

"Yep. He came home and wanted to know where you were and then took a plane to Texas. He's a bit unsettled right now."

"That's Isaac to a T." It was why he'd gone to Greece.

Daniel laughed. "It is. I can't believe he didn't tell you though."

Of course he didn't. "All right, I need to go." He needed to get back to Mila. Her lunch had ended twenty minutes ago.

"Okay. You need to do this, Ethan. Love you and be careful."

"I always am. Love you. Tell Mom I love her."

"We'll see you soon."

Ethan disconnect the call and sighed, wondering how soon he'd see them again. What's up bro? Why didn't you tell me you were coming here? He hadn't seen Isaac in several months. He turned and headed back towards the garden center.
