Ethan and Mila arrived at the garden center a bit later and walked inside. Mila headed over to the front counter, Ethan close behind her.
Riley looked up. "Mila, I am so sorry about yesterday."
Mila smiled. "It's fine. Im not upset with you."
She saw Riley breath a sigh of relief. "You didn't reject him, did you?"
"No." Her eyes darted to Ethan and she saw his brother Isaac approach him. The two of them were very difficult to tell apart, she noticed. She was going to have to ask him what the difference was because as of right now, she couldn't see any.
They were both looking at each other, and she wondered if they were talking through their mind link. Something she'd eventually be able to do. She thought about what Rebekah had told her yesterday about the bond and how Ethan would be able to feel her emotions. He'd said he wanted her to mark him at the same time, which meant she'd be able to feel his as well. She liked that idea.
"Are they talking?" Riley asked her quietly.
"Yeah," Mila said and saw both of them glance at the girls. She smiled. "They also heard you."
Riley frowned. "This is going to take some getting used to."
"Did you guys ever switch places?" Mila asked them.
Isaac's eyebrows shot up, while Ethan smiled. "No. It's too easy to tell us apart."
"How?" Riley asked.
"Our scents are different," Isaac said.
The girls glanced at each other, as their men approached.
"How are we supposed to tell you apart?" Mila asked.
Both brothers reached out and touched her arms. Tingles traveled up her right arm while she felt nothing on the left. She gasped and turned to the right, looking at Ethan.
"That's one way. But you won't have a problem," he said.
She nodded. She was more drawn to him than Isaac. Isaac was definitely hot, but that was it. He was like any other guy she found good looking. But Ethan..
"You want to watch the counter while I go work outside?" Riley asked her.
"Yeah, that's fine," Mila agreed.
Riley headed outside, Isaac right behind her.
Mila walked over to the house plants to slowly wander.
Ethan walked up behind her. "Which one do you want?"
Mila smiled. "All of them."
Ethan looked at her.
"I had like twenty plants. Not a lot, but I haven't been collecting them for long. He put them in my garbage disposal," she said sadly.
Ethan frowned at her. "That's so messed up."
She nodded as he came forward and wrapped his arms around her. "That upsets me almost as much as the photos."
"How come you haven't replaced any yet?" He asked, glancing over the plants as he cuddled her against him.
"Well, I wasn't sure what was going to happen between us, and I know moving across the country is going to be a big enough hassle without having to drag plants with me," she said. "Are we going to take a moving truck or what?"
"No, we'll just take a plane."
"They charge by the bag," she reminded him.
"We're flying privately," he said.
