It was Adam Levine. The lead singer of Maroon 5.

His songs were all over the radio.

He blinked twice when he saw me.

"Uhm...Chris...Christina Aguilera?"

I laughed.

"Yup...that would be me."

"Oh god please don't tell me you're here for the new tv show"

"I'm sorry but..yes I am"

"Nonono don't get me wrong..it's just..."

He sighed and continued.

"I wasn't expecting you..you know...you're kind of a big deal."

"Well..thank you. Thanks for being late too, now I won't be the only one."

I laughed.

I could see that he couldn't stop staring at me.

I broke the silence.

"So...why did you accept the offer for the job?"

"I want to help people make their dreams come true. And you?"

"That's exactly why I accepted the job too"

A smile was formed in my face.

The doors of the elevator opened in the second floor.

There was a hallway and in the end of it there was a big door that said The Voice.

"Are you ready?"

He looked down at me.

"Yes..I guess"

He opened the door and the first thing I saw was Mark sitting in a couch.

And then I noticed the two other coaches.

My jaw dropped to the floor.

"Ceelo Green and Blake Shelton?! Oh my god!! This is going to be EPIC"

"Christina Aguilera?!"

Both of them yelled in harmony.

"Lord have mercy, my eyes have never seen that much beauty and talent in one person"

Ceelo said.

"Aww that's cute, thank you!"

Mark just kept sitting there with a big smile on his face.

And then got up to start speaking:

"Well, I am honored to be working with all of you guys. I chose you because you all represent the different genres of music and you inspire people with your talent. I'm sure this show will be genuine because as the name says...it's the voice what's important..not the way someone looks.
Now you can get to know eachother a little better"

I started talking when Mark finished.

"I wanted to thank you for giving me this amazing oportunity Mark..and I'm 100% sure that we are going to get along really good"

"Cheers for The Voice!!"

The boys said raicing a glass of wine giving me one glass.

"Cheers!"

As the night went on..we all got really confident with eachother. I don't know if it was the wine but we all felt like we had known eachother since forever.
It was like a little party...there were drinks, food and music.
