Undying Love (Shane Walsh x OC)

Chapter 11

     It was another day as usual. It was just filled with the camp doing chores and Bonnie catching up with Rick about what happened in the weeks that he was out. It felt nice for Bonnie to finally be with Rick. Everything was somewhat back to normal.

     The night had come and they were settled around the campfire, laughing and just enjoying the quiet night when suddenly, they heard screaming. The screaming sounded like it belonged to Amy. They turned and looked over to see what was happening, only to see walkers walking everywhere.

     Chaos erupted as everyone got up and started to run in different directions, trying to find somewhere to go away from that place. Bonnie heard screams coming from the children and the scampering of feet. She looked over and Shane cock his shotgun. "Lori, Get him down!" He yelled as he pointed the gun at the walker and shot.

     All hell broke loose and everyone was either running around or killing walkers. Shots rang in the air. Bonnie was frozen in fear when a walker grabbed her by the shoulder. Shane screamed at Bonnie, but before the walker could bite, she took her bat and beat it down. She looked around and saw Lori holding Carl close. Shane was yelling and instructing everyone to follow him.

     Bonnie heard Andrea scream and turned only to see Amy with a bite mark on her neck and a walker holding her by her shoulders. Andrea was rushing for Amy and Bonnie came over and held her back. Jim rushed over and swung his bat on the walker's head. Andrea crawled over to Amy and was weeping as she looked at the wound. Bonnie watched as she came over and consoled her.

     Andrea was weeping as she looked into Amy's eyes and saw that she was slowly fading away. She turned when she heard Shane yelling and shots ringing in the air. She came over and saw Shane with Carl, Lori, Carol, and Sophia following close behind him.

Bonnie's POV

     I was frozen in place until I saw Shane getting cornered. I got up and rushed forward, Armed with a bat, and swung at the walkers, in the process, my white sweater turned into a crimson color. I kept going until I saw Rick come out with Glenn, T-Dog, and Daryl. They saw the chaos that we were in and started shooting at the walkers until it was finished.

     I was breathing heavily and heard the sounds of Andrea weeping. I felt bad, seeing everyone reuniting with their loved ones, while Andrea had just lost her little sister.
