Everyone was shaken up after the attack. Dead bodies were litter everywhere and the smell of the dead just lingered everywhere. Bonnie watched Jim dig a hole as Andrea wept about the loss of Amy.
Bonnie's POV
The walkers' attack had shaken everyone up. We wondered for a while why the walkers were moving away from the city and into the woods and we concluded that since there were no more humans in the city, they were moving further into the woods to find some food. We knew it wasn't safe enough to stay in the camp and we needed to find some sort of way to stop this.
So, We decided to go to the CDC to find a cure. I was getting ready to head out with the rest of the camp when I heard Rick talking to someone on the radio. I hid behind a bush as I listened, I was always nosey even when I was younger. I saw him talking to someone on his walkie-talkie.
"My family. . they're alive. I wanted you to know that. Something else you need to know is what they said about Atlanta...Isn't true. The city. . .Do not enter the city. . .It belongs to the dead now," Rick said before shutting off the walkie-talkie. I popped out and he flinched when he turned to me. He chuckled as he shook his head.
"When are you ever not nosey?" He asked jokingly as I smiled. "You know me. I'll be up in your business forever," I said as he chuckled and punched my shoulder playfully. We walked back to camp as we talked about what life was like back when this whole thing wasn't a thing to worry about. We arrived and already saw some of the others getting ready for the journey that lies ahead of us to the CDC.
Narrator's POV
Everyone was now ready for the journey. They all got into their separate campers and looked back at their old camp one final time before starting their campers, cars, or whatever vehicle they were using and started to make their way to the CDC.
