Staying after with my friends was alright I guess, most of the time I had to make sure they where happy, not worrying. And making sure they are having fun is not fun for me.

Taylor got picked up earlier than expected, so Lexy called her mom and we rode home, and the entire car ride home was silent. With dinner came small conversations, but not much.

We arrived at my new home for a few days, and immediately Rachel had us help prepare dinner. It wasn't too hard, we made home-made pizza.

After dinner we sat around watching TV, relaxing after the long day. But I was bored, so without warning I said: "I'm going out for a walk." I got up and moved towards the door.

"Oh? Do you want me to-" Alexis started, looking at me with surprised eyes.

"No. Call me if you need anything." I interrupted. I left immediately, only taking my phone.

I walk down the side of the road, and within like fifteen minutes I found myself at the edge of the forest. Hopeful, I stepped beneath the light canopy of the trees.

I wandered aimlessly for a few minutes, listening to the creeks and bangs sound noisily around me.

I followed a dirt trail that weaved around the trees for a few minutes, and halfway through my walk a familiar face jumped down from the trees.

"Hiya girlie!" The blood-stained hoodie wearing boy greeted me.

"Hey... What's up with the girlie?" I asked, looking at him with the best confused expression I could muster.

"Oh...." he started, with a small chuckle. "You never really told me your name..." He said, running his fingers through his raven black hair.

"Addilyn..." I said, feeling very rude for not noticing before that I hadn't told him.

"Fitting." He said quietly.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" I got snippy with him.

He held up his hands defensively. "Nothing bad... Honestly, I like that name... I thought it was fitting because a cute girl deserves a cute name..."

Oh. Jeff finds me cute..? What does that even mean exactly? "You... You think I'm... Cute?" I asked, suddenly feeling very shy.

I could see his white, ghostly, cheeks turn a light shade of red - he was blushing. "Well... Yeah. Is that a bad thing?"

I smiled, he is even attractive when he's shy! I took a step closer to him and hugged him, only now did I realize how much taller he is to me. Atleast a foot. How old is he?

Jeff wrapped his arms around me, he made a surprised chuckle and held me closer.

I buried my head in his chest and I could feel his warmth. Tears grew beneath my closed eyelids; I shuddered, trying to calm down, and Jeff slowly pulled away from me.

I made a small whimper noise - I didn't want him to go - and Jeff smiled warmly. He tilted my head slightly upward and bent down, until his lips were pressed against my own.

It surprised me, but I didn't pull away. A random thought passed through my mind - Ha! My first kiss is with a serial killer! I wonder what my mom would think? Mom... No! I can't think about my mom now, think about Jeff!

Moments passed until he finally broke the kiss. I could feel my face burning a crimson red. He laughed a gentle laugh and jumped up to the trees from whence he came - disappearing for the night.

I took a moment to think, before I turned around to head back home. My face still burned red on my walk. When I walked through the door Rachel immediately began questioning me, like 'where have you been?' 'Why were you gone for so long?' And stuff like that - motherly questions.
