Several days passed, the projects are done, Ana, Dave, Chaze, and Noah can finally view their achievements. A car with the president's symbol came by and picked them up in the afternoon. The car went to a street where a giant blue cloth was draped over a statue. The group exited the car and looked in awe.
Mr. President: In honor of how you save nearly everyone, I present to you...
He removed the sheet. It appeared to be a statue of Chaze, Noah, Ana, & Dave all in an action pose against The King.
Dave: Wow, that's incredible...
Chaze: Will we get paid for our efforts?
Mr. President: I've considered that but, I think the new house is enough of a payment for us.
The group went back inside and went. To their new house, several blocks from the statue. The House looked like it was built for three to four people. Everyone went inside and looked at the decorations. Ana had a question on her mind.
Ana: How much is the rent?
Mr. President: $147.
Noah: That's... reasonable.
Mr. President: Since you just moved in, we're making the first two months available for free. Have a good day.
The president went into the car to return to the White House. A mover came in with a pile of rotting wood and broken glass.
Mover: That should be that last of the items from the old house. Where should it go this time?
Chaze pointed at the pile of rubbish. The Mover went over and dumped it into the pile.
Chaze: Wait, what about the stuff from my house?
Mover: Considering that the owner sold the place, and that they placed all their possessions in a storage unit, we decided to move everything from that to here. You're lucky to have people who can look over kids like you.
Chaze: I'm 15.
Mover: You're lucky to have people who can look over teenagers like you.
The Mover left the premises. Everyone looked at each other and then back at the pile.
Noah: Does anyone want to deal with decorating their rooms today?
Dave, Ana, & Chaze: No.
Noah: Would anyone like some pizza to celebrate our accomplishments?
Dave, Ana, & Chaze: Yes.
The gang sat around a dining table that was still wrapped in plastic. They opened the pizza box and dug in. Chaze looked around the table and back at his slices. Despite everything that happened, he was still the same person he was just a few months ago. He realized that he didn't have to follow orders from a person who lost their grip on reality, he was now able to make his own choices in life. He was happy. Chaze closed his eyes, smiled, and promptly ate his two slices and started chewing the box. Everyone was looking at him strangely.
Noah: Should we tell him that he still has a human stomach?
Dave: ... Nah.
