Third POV
*Slight Graphic Content Ahead*

Katsuki woke up hours later to the smell of stir fry being made.

His cerise gaze wandered to the table in front of him, spotting his pistol and his phone. The latter was the first to be picked up, noticing the time read 6 PM and he had dozens of calls from Eijirou Kirishima.

The crimson-dyed haired and matching irises Alpha was Katsuki's own confidant and best worker he had to date. To tell the truth, Kirishima was the one who helped Katsuki most through his divorce from Izuku, and was also the same person who encouraged he when Izuku get together at the same time.

Eijirou Kirishima, the spiky teethed guy was the only one who really knew how Katsuki still felt about Izuku.

"You're finally up." Izuku's voice sounded from arched doorway of the guest living room, "Just in time, the food is done."

Katsuki's brows raised, "Kirishima called, so I'm assuming I need to leave now."

Izuku placed his hands behind his back, "He called and I answered for you. I told him you were asleep, but obviously he didn't believe me and now he's on his way."

Katsuki let out a scoff, tucking his gun back in proper spot and beginning to put on his top, "You're my ex-wife. It's be a bit strange if I went all day with no response, but he got you instead."

Izuku rocked his head back and forth, "I suppose that's true."

"Assuming you have something coming up, so I suggest you quickly eat then head on out."

When he was done buttoning up, the two of them headed into the kitchen, as Katsuki took a seat at the small breakfast table, trying to fully wake himself up as food was plated in front of him.

Izuku took a seat just opposite of him, as the two began to eat in silence. Taking the occasional glances at one another to see if a conversation could spark up.

Their pacing post relationship was odd to say the very least; one day they could be taking jabs at each other and the next they could be laughing like they were boss and assistant all over again.

The first to bite the bullet in this case was Katsuki, noticing the rather distant look in Izuku's eyes, "Something bothering you?"

Izuku's nephrite eyes flicked back to the Prime Alpha then back to the food, "...Dunno."

Clicking his tongue, Katsuki placed down his fork, "Is it me?"

"No, but..." Izuku wavered, letting out a huff, not exactly sure whether or not he wanted to talk about the meeting with Honenuki.

Leaning closer, Katsuki stuck his foot out, gently tapping Izuku's shin, "If it's something too personal then you don't have to, but if it's something that can be eased by talking to me about then..."

Bitting the insides of his cheek, Izuku just shook his head, "Katsuki, the meeting that I had the other night was a complete bust."'

A lump seemed to swell in Izuku's throat, no longer finishing the urge to eat, "I really am not good at these things."

"Doing these meetings and collaborations are your thing, people trust you and take you seriously, but to me, they treat me like a big fat joke and I can't even stick up for myself because even I don't think doing this is right for me."
