X: The Mood

Third POV
*Mature Content Ahead*

Evening time had arrived.

Officials, conglomerate personnel, and all of the above had come to such a banquet.

All of Izuku and Katsuki's crew had made their way down to the grand banquet hall to pacify the guests in response to the absence of the two event-holders.

"Once again, those two disappear without a proper explanation and leave everything to us." Uraraka sighed, adjusting his navy suit, "Uraraka, where's Midoriya?"

Uraraka, who'd just picked up a glass of champagne shrugged, "He was getting ready when Bakugo knocked and said he had to ask something important and said they'd be a bit tardy."

Giving each other knowing looks, they agreed to just keep face and ensure the event was well off.

Izuku remained seated at the small vanity, placing on a diamond bracelet, not turning to look at Katsuki until he was done,

"I didn't think you'd place my room assignment just a door across from your own."

Katsuki, all dressed down and his hair slicked back let out a hum, "If anything, you should be grateful."

"You don't want to be around Kaminari, Kirishima, or Sero in the middle of the night if you want some peace and quiet."

Izuku let out an "oh", before rising from his seat fully. He took a step or two towards Katsuki, feeling watchful Carmine eyes take in his every move.

"...Is it too much?" Izuku murmured, keeping his arms in front of him as he presented himself to his ex-husband.

Under the slightly dimmed lights, Izuku revealed himself in a chuui collection black Glam Doll Halter Fishtail dress.

In his hands were a pair of black heels, nothing too much.

"To me, no, but, I can have my people and your people shoot, punch, stab, or kick," Katsuki chuckled, finding little amusement in his joke, "Just say the word and they'll come swinging if someone says it's too much."

Izuku let out a huff of his own, walking towards the bed and taking a seat on it as he attempted to place on his shoes.

"Alright," Izuku whispered, "What did you wanna talk about?"

Katsuki stared down at Izuku at first, watching as the omega gently patted beside him for Katsuki to sit next to him.

"You ready to sign this?" He inquired, watching how Izuku suddenly paused, still on his first shoe to sit upright.

"Of course I am," Izuku answered, an incredulous look on his face, "While I'm not much of a fan of the social interaction I'm to face, it'll all be worth it knowing Haru is safe."

"...Besides, if I didn't sign it, it'd all be for nothing."

"True." Katsuki agreed, just as quietly as Izuku.
