VI: War With Me

Third POV

The Bakugo pharmeceutical company.

A long-standing investment poured into by every generation of Bakugos and those they chose to surrounded themselves with.

Presently on the 6th floor, just hours before anyone else was to appear aside from night shift security and maybe a custodian was Katsuki himself and two others.

A short stacked, beta woman with cropped purple-tinted black hair who never failed to maintain a rather unamused expression on her face at all times named Kyoka Jirou.

The other was another alpha, with lean muscles and neck-length, jet-black hair and happened to maintain the opposite of Kyoka as he donned a cocky grin at all times, named Hanta Sero.

All were gather in Conference room 2-C

Earlier than what Katsuki would've normally preferred, but this meeting simply couldn't wait. His mood completely shifted to antsy as he waited for his 'special' guest to arrive.

Inside the conference room itself, both left and right sides was covered in bookshelves with different motifs, encyclopedias and medical history volumes.

The back wall was taken out, and just tall skyline windows had allowed the perfect view of the sun beginning to rise.

A long rectangular table, decked out with small complementary trays and modern white upholstered swivel chairs that encompassed it.

A golden clock rocked soundly in the room, as right on cue the large translucent glass paneled doors opened up, revealing Kirishima himself.

The unusually stoic redhead cleared his throat to make the announcement,

"Boss, Juzo Honenuki and his assistant has arrived."

Stepping aside, in came Honenuki with an enthusiastic smile on his face, entering the conference room as if he owned the damned place.
His assistant, Reiko Yanagi maintained a collected expression, taking a seat beside her boss with as little noise as possible.

With a subtle signal, Katsuki ordered Kirishima to standby in front of the office doors on the outside, just to ensure there weren't more stragglers or anyone to catch the prime alpha off guard.

"A bit early for a meeting don't you think?" Honenuki inquired, a pompous grin on his face as he watched Katsuki's blank expression slowly stretch into a grin.

"The faster the better." Katsuki merely dismissed, "Now, I was a bit surprised for two reasons when you offered me this proposition of area for a settlement."

"The first being, you and I haven't worked much together in all the years of our activity in the mafia underworld."

Honenuki tossed up his hands, letting out a laugh, "Indeed, but it's always good to have a start somewhere."

He then scratched his chin, curious about Katsuki's second reason.

"Right, my second reason," Katsuki trailed off, his look not faltering.

~Flashback~

Katsuki sat calmly on the boxes of ammo meant to shipped back to Japan for quality control. At the moment, he was in one of his warehouses located on the very outskirts of downtown Sacramento.

In front of him were two alphas, both having long standing investment ties to the Bakugo Pharmaceutical company for over five plus years now.

"W-what the hell do you think you're doing?!" The first of them yelled, like his 'partner' he was sweating bullets after being kidnapped from his home, "Do you have any idea who we are to the company?"

Katsuki shrugged, playing with the safety of his gun, "Don't go getting a big head. At the end of the day, I can fit the budget each of you placed in the company in my sock."

He then took two shots from his pistol at their feet.

Intentionally missing.

Katsuki cleared his throat, sliding off the shipping boxes and taking languorous steps towards the men that writhed in fear, "There was an omega; an incredibly beautiful and incredibly innocent omega that you two shitheads attacked a few nights ago and ended up putting him in the hospital."

"He was mine. My assistant, and you harmed him."

An intense burning gaze was materialized on Katsuki's complexion.

He simply couldn't hide his fury.

Squatting down to be eye level with them, he squeezed the jaw of one of the alphas', cocking his gun and shoving the head into their mouth.

"I'm here to make myself very fucking clear." Katsuki grunted, the sound of a click following as he removed the safety.

"If you have an issue with Izuku, you've automatically started a war with me."

~Flashback end~

"My ex-wife, Mr.Midoriya also offered the same thing, and his offer would've saved you a whole lot more than with me." Katsuki answered, inspecting Honenuki who went stiff for a moment.

"Yes, well I don't like going through middle men-," Honenuki tried to brush off casually when he noticed the incredibly irritated expression on Katsuki's face.

"Who the fuck told you Izuku was the middle man? You only like to meet with bosses, but Izuku was right there and you spat in his face like he was nothing." Katsuki spat with venom.

Honenuki took Yanagi's hand, giving Katsuki a dodgy look, "Really, there's no need to get worked up about this. I simply was reiterating to your ex-wife some of my concerns that many others in the underworld were sharing amongst themselves."

Katsuki's jaw clenched, his gaze burning with utter malice.

How dare he?

How dare he question Izuku like that?

"You and the so called others can take their concerns and shove it for all I care." Katsuki snapped, standing up from his seat and slamming his hand down on the conference table.

"Don't ever let me find out that you've fixed your face to disrespect or undermine the mother of my child again."

His anger no longer contained, Katsuki cocked an eyebrow, standing up and beginning to leave his seat,

"That will be your first and last warning. Now get out of my conference room and consider the area deal cancelled."

Without a retort, both Honenuki and Yanagi stood up and left Katsuki's presence without another word.

Both Jirou and Sero maintained nonchalant expressions throughout the ordeal, giving each other side glances once Kirishima had stepped in and the conference room doors had closed fully.

All of their thoughts were exactly the same.

"There's simply no way he's not still in love."
