XX: Mistakes Were Made

Third POV

May 21st.

The third worst day of Izuku Midoriya's life.

Coming only after the bitter sweet moment of Haru's birth and his and Katsuki's divorce.

It was supposed to be normal.

But sometimes things are never as they are supposed to be.

The Bakugo Pharmaceutical Company.

Conference room 2C.

Katsuki's people and Furasu's closest people alike gathered inside the room quite early.

All to gather for a momentous occasion.

Katsuki dressed in pitch black, aside from a dark blue tie, while Maina dressed in a floor-length dark blue dress.

They looked like such a distinguished couple in front of their peers.

Most of the celebratory words seem to pass through the ears of everyone quite contently on Maina's part.

However, on Katsuki's end, they all had rather pathetically hidden looks of uncertainty for their boss.

All looking at the man who maintain and stoic look, then to his right hand man who plastered a fake smile on his face.

The redhead had urged that they all show their support even if they didn't have any to give.

As this decision was incredibly harsh on Katsuki.

As the small ceremony progresses, Maina's words finally broke through.

"The Furasu Biotech company is happy to form a permanent alliance with the Bakugo Pharmaceutical company!"

As the woman let go of Katsuki's hand and flashed a small diamond ring to the group that all had delayed reactions.

An alliance through marriage.

Inko sipped her late morning green juice slowly, reading yet another novel.

Her home was silent per usual, as she awaited on her son who said he'd be stopping by with Haru.

She wasn't sure why, but he sounded a bit frantic. Or, perhaps that was her old brain convincing her he was frantic.

Startling her out of her paragraph line, the sound of a honk outside the front of her home drew her to the foyer.

Opening up one of the thick oak doors to see Izuku dressed in a black Baby Lies Halter Tailored vest and plain black jeans, donning simple matching flip flops and thick, oversized framed sunglasses.

Leaving the car still running and his door still open, he scurried to the back passenger side and pulled Haru out of his car seat.
