XV: Hope For
Third POV
Two days had passed since that fateful night at the Central Heights Opera House.
Despite his initial worries, Izuku was relieved when Katsuki didn't call or ask him about him being at the opera house or anything of the sort.
Izuku couldn't help but feel nauseous at the idea of him being caught, even though he really had no reason to.
On the other hand, he also hadn't heard much from Shinsou, other than the man saying it was fine and a rain check was possible.
Presently, Izuku was pondering his past choices at home, merely taking a day off to be with Haru.
"...Maybe I just need a second chance with him," Izuku hummed to himself, staring blankly at his phone, opened to Todoroki's contact information, "To really start to feel something."
He planned on calling the alpha earlier to ask about work, but he didn't get much of a response.
Behind him, he heard shuffling, looking up from his chair to look behind him, spotting little Haru who was busy scampering around the living room with one of his small light up toys in hand.
A smile formed on Izuku's face as he and the little pup suddenly made eye contact, as a squeal was let out when Izuku extended his arms.
Haru crashed into his dam's arms, sinking in and mumbling over and over again, "Mama-!"
Izuku only took one good look at Haru the day he was born and an overarching sense of pride and warmth filled his body.
Even in that moment or over the phone, he'd wished Katsuki was present for it.
Present to see his son enter the world and present for Izuku who'd needed him more than ever.
A light growl sounded, causing Izuku to perk up his head, looking at Haru curiously,
"Are you hungry?" He cheekily inquired, looking at one of the side clocks that read 13:30 (1:30 pm), "Should we go get lunch?"
With an eager nod Haru jumped up and down gleefully as Izuku got up and grabbed his keys.
With Haru in hand, the two of them left the home and went to go eat out together.

The sound of scribbling echoed in the otherwise silent office.
Katsuki finished signing off his parts to the drawn up agreement meant for his and Ms.Furasu's company.
A sudden knock at the door drew him away from writing down his last signature, telling whoever it was to come in.
Incoming Kirishima.
The redhead who'd been sent on errand run for his boss had let out a sigh, placing down a few other records from other lower ranking employees about quarterly sales.
"I see you're signing the agreement." Kirishima noted out loud, earning a nod from Katsuki who took his attention off of it for the moment, "...Aside from business, what did you think of her?"
