2 months later

Nia

"Ma can you help me fix my tie?" Jayden yelled.

"Ugh." I mumbled in frustration. For the past half an hour I've been trying to fix my hair.

"Baby can you go help him? I'm almost done with my hair." I asked Mario.

Mario nodded his head and kissed my cheek. "Just leave it out." He whispered in my ear.

"It's to hot to be all down my back though." I whined.

Mario shook his head as he left the room.

I finally decided to just leave my hair out, I curled it a bit knowing that I would sweat it out later.

I fixed myself in the mirror and rubbed my tiny baby bump that's starting to form. I still haven't told Mario that there is a possibility the baby isn't his.

Mario thinks the baby is his which it may be, but I just want us to be happy. I don't want to ruin his moment especially since he just got his job back two weeks ago.

Mario went to court last month and the judge settled the case between him & his ex wife, she was charged with fraud.

"Ma, I'm ready." Jayden yelled.

I sighed as I grabbed my purse, I'm not ready. Today is the day my baby boy graduate from high school.

"You look so handsome." I pinched his cheeks.

"Come on ma, stop." He became annoyed.

"You're such a big cry baby." Ari rolled her eyes.

"Shut up punk." Jay plucked Ariana.

"Alright kids, behave." Mario yelled.

"Sorry daddy." Ariana softly said.

I followed everyone down the steps and out the house.

Chris

I was sitting on the porch smoking a blunt until I heard a lot of commotion going on.

I turned my head and seen Nia getting into the truck with her husband and kids, from a distance look like she gained a couple of pounds.

I inhaled and exhaled the smoke. For the past month I've been lonely as fuck without Kay. A nigga has needs, I don't know if this long distance shit gon' work.

Speaking of Kayla my phone began to ring, I quickly answered.

"Aye baby." I answered.

"Hey baby, I miss you."

"I miss you more, I don't know how much longer a nigga can take without you being here." I put the blunt out.

"I know babe, I'll be back soon."

"Why can't you just move in with me?"

"That's a big step Chris, you know how we get. If we get into an argument where am I going to go?"

"So what you sayin' you don't trust me?"

"Chris listen to me baby. We just got back together bout two months ago."

"Kayla I gotta go." I ended the phone call. I hate when she beat around the bush and don't answer my fuckin' question.

How hard is it to answer a fuckin question? all she had to was admit she don't trust me.

Kayla called me back right after I hung up on her, but I ignored her phone call. I locked the house up and drove to the nearest bar, maybe a drink will calm me down.
