A/N: Kayla & Christina in the M/M.

Mario

The restaurant was pretty dead today since it was a weekday. I was surprised to see two beautiful ladies walk in dressed up.

One of my employees seated them and I walked over to greet them.

"Can I start you two ladies off with something to drink until a waiter comes over?"

Both of the ladies heads shot up and stared at me. They both glanced at eachother and chuckled.

"I may need a glass of water. I'm dying of thirst just by looking at you." One of the ladies said.

"Christina stop." The other lady laughed, she looked young but she was still beautiful.

"Don't pay my friend any mind. I'll have a coke."

"She's going to need something stronger then that." Christina whispered to me and I chuckled.

"You two are something else. I'll bring a glass of water and a coke over." I smiled as I walked towards the back to prepare the drinks.

* * *

"Thank you pretty eyes." Christina blushed as I sat the drinks down.

"No problem." I smiled.

"Are you single?" She tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Please don't pay my friend any mind." The other girl mumbled to me.

"Stop cock blocking this might be my Mr. Right." Christina fanned her off.

"It's alright." I chuckled. "To answer your question I am married, but it's complicated right now."

"Sorry that I asked." Christina looked down at her nails embarrassed.

"No it's fine, you didn't know. I'll send Larry over, he'll be y'all server tonight. I am the manager of the restaraunt, so don't hesitate to find me for any questions or concerns you two may have. You ladies enjoy your dinner."

They both nodded there heads. "Wait, we didn't get your name." Christina yelled.

"Mario."

"Does that come with a number? Or am I asking for to much?" Christina batted her eyelashes.

"I'm not quite ready to move on yet, but you're a beautiful woman. I guess exchanging numbers wouldn't hurt."

Christina handed me her phone and I stored my number in her phone. "Just text me, so I can save your number." I told her.

"Okay sexy." She blushed.

I laughed at her flirtatiousness, I find it cute.

Chris

I locked up the museum and headed over to my car. I furrowed an eyebrow as I grabbed a sticky note that was stuck to my car.

Warning #1 Leave Nia alone! I read the note.

I climbed into the car and quickly called Nia.

"Hey Chris." She answered.

"Nia, are you alright?" I started the car.

"Yes I'm fine. Why?"

"I'm just leaving work. I found a note on my car. Whoever wrote it told me to leave you alone. Do you have any idea who it could be?" I drove off sitting my phone in my lap putting the phone on speaker.

"What?" She gasped. "No, I know Mario wouldn't do anything like that."

"Neither would Kay. This is weird as fuck. Somebody is stalking us. We gotta start watching our surroundings." I stopped at a red light.

"It has to be someone who is jealous." I shook my head as if she could see me.

"Send me a picture of the note. I'll see if the handwriting looks familiar." She suggested.

"Aight." I ended the phone call.

When I stopped at a red light I took a picture of the note and sent it to Nia.

A minute later Nia texted me.

The handwriting doesn't ring a bell...what the hell.

I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel waiting for the light to turn green.

Once the light turned green I yield my way onto the beltway.

20 minutes later I arrived home & my phone rung. I answered as I climbed out the car.

"Hello."

"Christopher Maurice brown." My mom sternly said through the phone.

"Yeah ma." I chuckled as I unlocked the door to my house.

"Don't you yeah me boy. I haven't heard from you since you moved."

"Sorry bout that mama' I been busy wit' work and all that good stuff."

"Mhm, so you couldn't squeeze in a phone call to check up on your mama." She sucked her teeth.

"You right mama, my fault. I'll do a better job." I sat my keys on the counter. "I got some stuff to tell you though."

"Like what Chris?"

"I'm about to be a father very soon."

"You're? I'm going to be a grandmother." My mama cheered. "I knew you and Kay would get back together, how is she?"

I sighed before I answered her. "Mama Kay isn't the mother."

"What? Who's the mother then Chris?" She gasped.

"Her name is Nia, she's my neighbor."

"I have to meet this Nia chick, I hope she was worth getting pregnant."

"Mama that's not nice, neither one of us planned for this to happen but we're being adults about the situation."

"Glad to hear son. I'm going to cook me some dinner, hope to hear from you soon my love. Love you dear."

"Love you to mama." I ended the phone call.

I ran my hand down my face, that woman is something else.
