Chapter 30

A/N: drawing that Nia found in the M/M. This is the last chapter loves😓.  I can write an epilogue for you guys if you want, but I ran out of ideas for this story which is why I've chosen not to do a sequel. Thank you all who've took your time to support this story!

Chris and I just moved in together, new neighborhood & a new house. We figured a fresh start would be good for the both of us.

I've been busy unpacking boxes all day. Trying to get settled in is worst then moving to me.

I was about to take a break until I seen a piece of paper hanging out the side of the box. I picked it up and my eyes grew large as I seen it was a drawing of Chris's ex Kay. Why the hell does he even still have this drawing?

I heard the front door open and in came Chris and Kristyn.

"Let's go find mommy." I heard Chris voice.

I folded my arms as he walked over towards me and kissed my cheek.

"Still unpacking baby?" He tried to peck my lips but I turned my head.

"What's your problem?" He furrowed an eyebrow. "The hell I do now?"

I handed him the drawing of Kay.

"Why do you still have this?" I rested my hand on my hip.

"It's an old drawing baby."

"I didn't ask you was it new or old. I asked why do you still have it."

"Why are you trippin' over a drawing? It was a gift I was going to give to her for her birthday, but that never happened since we broke up."

"So why do you still have it Chris?"

"I forgot to throw it out."

"You forgot?" I chuckled. "That's all you got, huh?" I shook my head as I walked away.

"Nia..." He called after me.

Chris

Kristyn started crying so I walked her upstairs to her crib. I guess Nia and I scared her.

"Shh baby girl everything gon' be alright. Your mama and I ain't mean to scare you." I kissed her forehead.

I walked back and forth with her in my arms until she fell asleep. I laid her in her crib and went downstairs to check on Nia.

Nia was sitting in the kitchen drinking a glass of wine.

"You still love her, huh?" She asked as I entered the kitchen.

"I do, but I'm over her Nia. I'm with you now. I haven't talked to Nia since we broke up. Baby do you know how long ago that was?" I sat down next to her.

"You don't see me saving shit from Mario's & I relationship."

I nodded my head agreeing with her.

"I made a mistake keeping the drawing. If it makes you feel any better I'll throw it out." I balled the piece of paper up and threw it in the trash can.

"Baby I'm sorry, aight? Niggas make mistakes. I ain't perfect."

Nia cut her eye at me, I can tell she wasn't buying my shit.

"I'll do whatever it takes to make you believe you're the only one I want." I moved closer to her. "Stop doubting me." I tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Chris move." She tried pushing me away, but I wasn't allowing that.

"You wanted a real family, so imma give you that and more."

Nia furrowed an eyebrow. "What do you mean Chris?"

I pulled a black box out my pocket. "Nia, since I first laid eyes on you I knew from the start I wanted you. How I was gon get you? I had no idea, but I did and I'm glad I did. You're an amazing woman, despite the way I felt about Kayla doesn't compare the way I feel you about you. Yes I still love Kayla, I always will she was my first love, but you Nia...I am in love with you. Kristyn helped me pick this ring out by the way, will you accept my promise ring?"

I wiped the tears falling from Nia's eyes. "Yes, I'll accept your promise ring Chris."

I wrapped my arms around her waist as our lips met.

"I love you." She mumbled in my ear.

"I love you more baby girl."

My hands traveled up and down her body, and I can tell it was turning her on.

"Chris, baby don't tempt me." Her breathing became heavy.

"Stop fighting temptation, that's how I got you in the first place." I sucked on her neck.

"Mm, well I guess I'm tempted to have you again." She bit on her bottom lip.

I swept her off her feet and carried her upstairs to our new room where we made love. I guess you can call that our makeup sex.
