Vaidehi and Viyansh were en route to the wedding venue of her friend Ananya. They were twinning, with Vaidehi donning a royal blue lehenga and Viyansh sporting a matching royal blue kurta. She insisted on the color choice, believing that he looked doubly handsome in Indian attire. Vaidehi couldn't help but steal glances at Viyansh, admiring how effortlessly handsome he looked in his traditional attire. She noticed the subtle smirk playing on his lips, indicating that he was fully aware of her gaze, it only added to his allure. Lost in her thoughts about how to protect him from the attention of other girls at the venue, she was jolted back to reality by his voice, pulling her attention away from the passing scenery.
Viyansh: "Jaan, you did a good job."
His words left her puzzled, prompting her to inquire further.
Vaidehi: "What job, Ansh?"
Viyansh: "By applying this smudge-proof lipstick because I don't trust myself."
He winked at her playfully, causing her to quickly avert her gaze to conceal the blush creeping up her cheeks. She internally scolded herself for the involuntary reaction. Sure, she had used the lipstick he had given her, but it was simply because she liked the shade, not for any other reason he might have assumed.
Viyansh: "Blushing blushing are we jaan?"
Vaidehi: "Ansh stop it please. Aap pehle hi kar chuke hai." (You've already done enough)
Viyansh: "Kya kiya tha maine biwi?" (What did I do)
As she blushed, memories flooded Vaidehi's mind, recalling how Viyansh had reacted to seeing her in this attire earlier. His tender kiss upon seeing her had ignited a warmth within her that lingered even now. The mere thought of that moment caused her cheeks to flush even more deeply, the sensation of his lips against hers still vivid in her mind. Despite her attempts to conceal her emotions, Vaidehi couldn't help but smile to herself.
Vaidehi: "Annshhh please"
Amidst light chuckles, they arrived at the venue and stepped inside, Vaidehi's arm looped around Viyansh's. She had taken to clinging onto him, noticing the admiring gazes from other women directed at him. Despite the attention, Viyansh found comfort in her closeness, her protective gesture serving as a silent declaration of her affection and possessiveness.
Vaidehi: "Why does everybody have to be after my husband, huh?"
Vaidehi muttered under her breath, feeling a tad irritated by the attention he was receiving. However, she maintained her composure and later joined in to wish the couple, presenting them with their wedding gift along with the others. Later, they proceeded to the dinner counter, where Viyansh gallantly pulled out a chair for Vaidehi to sit and then went to fetch food for both of them. True to his gentlemanly nature, he returned with just one plate and settled beside his wife.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, only one plate?"
Viyansh: "Yeah, because I don't have any issue with sharing food with my Jaan. Do you?"
She smiled and shook her head, indicating that she didn't mind at all. As he extended a morsel towards her, she accepted it. Today, he was feeding her, perhaps because her hands were still red from banging on the door when she was locked in earlier that morning. As she ate, she suddenly stopped him and said.
Vaidehi: "Aap bhi toh khaiye na." (ou should also eat, right?)
He smiled and ate the bite, but his expression quickly shifted to one of concern.
Vaidehi: "What happened, Ansh?"
Viyansh: "Oh God, biwi, are you feeling unwell? Let's go to the doctor."
