Vaidehi and Viyansh were still sleeping, exhausted from all the wedding festivities of Vihaan and Vanshika. The celebrations had been grand and joyous, but they had taken a toll on everyone involved. Now that everything was finally over, everybody could rest. In the soft morning light, Viyansh woke up first. He looked over at Vaidehi, still peacefully asleep beside him. Gently, he leaned in and kissed her forehead, a gesture of his deep affection. Then, with equal tenderness, he kissed her stomach. This had become a new ritual for him, ever since they had learned about the baby. After that, Viyansh carefully adjusted the pillows around her. This was a habit he had developed when she was on bed rest after being shot. During that time, he had been overly protective, making sure she was comfortable and safe. Vaidehi had initially found his overprotectiveness a bit much and had gently asked him to ease up, but now, with her carrying their child, Viyansh was determined not to compromise on her safety and comfort. He then went to freshen up and get ready for the day. The quiet of the early morning provided a peaceful backdrop as he washed away the remnants of sleep and fatigue from the past days of celebration. The cool water on his face helped clear his mind, and he took a moment to gather his thoughts and plan for the day ahead. After dressing, he returned to their room, where Vaidehi was still soundly asleep. The sight of her sleeping so peacefully brought a tender smile to his face. However, he knew that it was time for her to wake up and take her medicines. Viyansh moved quietly to the side of the bed and sat down beside her, careful not to startle her. He reached out and gently caressed her head, his fingers lightly brushing through her hair.
Viyansh: "Jaan, get up bachcha, you must be hungry na."
She stirred, her eyelids fluttering as she gradually awoke. Instead of fully rising, Vaidehi shifted closer to Viyansh, placing her head on his lap. She hid her face in his stomach, a comforting habit she had developed over the many months of their relationship. This gesture always melted his heart, reminding him of the deep bond they shared.Viyansh smiled, his hand instinctively moving to gently stroke her hair. He felt her warm breath through the fabric of his shirt and the softness of her skin against him. For a moment, everything felt perfectly serene. Vaidehi mumbled something incoherent, still half-asleep, but the contentment in her posture was unmistakable. Viyansh couldn't help but lean down, peppering her face with soft kisses. He kissed her forehead, her cheeks, her nose—everywhere he could reach without disturbing her too much. She giggled softly, the ticklish sensation of his kisses waking her up a bit more.
Vaidehi: “Stop it,”
She murmured playfully, though she made no move to get up.
Viyansh: “Never”
Viyansh replied with a chuckle, continuing his affectionate assault.
Viyansh: “I love seeing you like this.”
Her giggles turned into a soft laugh, and she finally looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with love and happiness.
Vaidehi: “You’re impossible,”
She said, though her tone was filled with adoration.
Viyansh: “And you love me”
He teased back, placing a final kiss on her lips.
With a sigh of contentment, she closed her eyes briefly before opening them again.
Vaidehi: “Okay, okay, I’m up”
She said, sitting up slowly but keeping close to him.
Viyansh: "Jaan, good morning."
Vaidehi: "Ansh, I'm tired. I want to sleep more."
Viyansh: "I know, bachcha, just eat something, take your medicines, and then you can sleep, okay?"
He cooed softly to her, his voice a gentle melody meant to wake her tenderly. Vaidehi slowly opened her eyes, blinking away the remnants of sleep. As her vision cleared, she saw Viyansh's face close to hers, a loving smile playing on his lips. This was a sight she had grown used to, yet it never failed to give her a deep sense of satisfaction and comfort.
