They were on their way back home when Vaidehi stirred awake. Her eyes fluttered open, taking in her surroundings and realizing she was nestled in the car, securely wrapped in her husband's arms. Vaidehi realized she was snuggled comfortably against her husband's chest, his steady heartbeat a comforting presence. His arms were wrapped protectively around her, providing a sense of security and warmth. She lifted her gaze and looked up at him, her eyes meeting his. He was already looking at her, his expression tender and filled with love. Vaidehi felt a rush of affection for him and couldn't help but smile. His response was immediate; his face softened further, and a gentle smile spread across his lips.

Viyansh: "How are you feeling now?"

Vaidehi: "Good."

She sat up slowly, straightening her back and stretching slightly to shake off the remnants of sleep. As she moved, Viyansh gently adjusted her, making sure she was properly settled into her seat. He smoothed a stray lock of hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear with a tender touch. Vihaan turned back and noticed that Vaidehi was awake. Concern and relief flashed across his face as he observed her sitting upright, supported by Viyansh.

Vihaan: "Dahi, thik hai tu??"
(are you okay?)

Vaidehi: "Ji bhai."
(yes, Bro)

Vaidehi rested her head comfortably on Viyansh's shoulder, finding solace in his presence. He gently held her hands, his thumb tracing soothing circles on the back of her palm. The car was enveloped in a calm silence until Vaidehi's gaze shifted to the rearview mirror. Her eyes widened in alarm, and she clutched Viyansh's hand tightly. Viyansh immediately noticed the change in her demeanor, his concern deepening as he observed her uneven breathing.

Viyansh: "Jaan, kya hua??" (
what happened?)

She tried to speak but her voice caught in her throat. Her breathing became shallow and rapid, and Viyansh could feel her trembling. Vaidehi, her hand trembling, pointed towards the rearview mirror. Viyansh followed her gaze, his eyes narrowing as he tried to identify what had caused her sudden distress.

Vaidehi: "Ansh v..vo.. vo... They.."

Viyansh began rubbing Vaidehi's back soothingly, trying to calm her down. Vihaan and Viraj exchanged worried glances as they noticed her distress. Without any delay, Viraj pulled the car over to the side of the road and stopped.

Vihaan: "Dahi, what happened?"

Vihaan asked gently, his eyes full of concern.

Viyansh: "Shhh bachcha, shant ho jao pehle."
(calm down first.)

Vaidehi's eyes began to well up with tears, the fear and anxiety overwhelming her. Viyansh continued to rub her back, his heart aching to see her so distressed. Vihaan and Viraj turned their attention to the rearview mirror, scanning the road behind them for any sign.

Vaidehi: "Ansh, vo... Those cars... The...ey were following me that day as well. Now ag... Again th.."

Viyansh quickly pulled Vaidehi into his embrace, gently pressing her face against his chest to shield her from the sight of the rearview mirror. He held her tightly, his presence a protective barrier against the fear she felt.

Viyansh: "Shhh, jaana, they will not do anything. They are just our bodyguards."

Vaidehi slowly lifted her head from Viyansh's chest, her eyes still glistening with unshed tears.

Vaidehi: "Bodyguards??"

Vihaan: "Haa Dahi, and even that day they were your bodyguards."

Vaidehi: "That day as well? That means you guys were aware that something like this would happen?"
