Viyansh entered the hall, his eyes scanning the room in search of Vaidehi. The hall was adorned with vibrant decorations, reflecting the joyous occasion. People were mingling, the sound of laughter and chatter filling the air. The scent of fresh flowers mixed with the aroma of delicious food being served, creating a festive atmosphere. Finally, he spotted her sitting beside Vanshika, who was engrossed in applying intricate mehendi designs to her hands. Vaidehi's usual radiance seemed dimmed, her face pale and etched with fatigue. Despite her attempt to engage in conversation with Vanshika, it was clear that something was troubling her. Viyansh's heart ached seeing her this way. Just then, Vanshika, having finished her mehendi, was whisked away by Vihaan. The two of them joined the others on the stage, their faces alight with happiness as they danced to the lively music. The hall was abuzz with activity, everyone else too busy with their own celebrations to notice Vaidehi's distress. Viyansh seized the opportunity. He grabbed a glass of fresh juice from a nearby table and made his way over to her. As he approached, Vaidehi looked up and their eyes met. Instantly, her face lit up with a broad smile, the sight of him bringing an unmistakable spark of happiness.
Vaidehi: "Ansh, mujhe pata tha aap aayenge."
(Ansh, I knew you would come.)Viyansh: "Have this juice, and main abhi bhi tumse naraz hu."
(Have this juice, and I'm still mad at you.)She looked at him with a pouty face and puppy eyes, clearly trying to elicit affection from him.
Viyansh: "Is baar ye sab kaam nahi aane wala, so don't try all these tactics."
(This time, these tactics won't work, so don't even try.)Vaidehi: "Ansh, please na function ke baad pakka chalte hai na please."
(Ansh, please, we'll definitely go after the function, please.)Viyansh: "Juice piyo pehle."
(Drink the juice first.)Viyansh gently held the glass to Vaidehi's lips, and she obediently drank the juice, sensing his underlying frustration. His concern for her well-being was evident, and she knew he had every right to worry. She understood his point—she should prioritize her health—However, she also felt she wasn't entirely wrong. After all, it was her brother's wedding, an event she couldn't possibly miss. It was a delicate balance she struggled to maintain. As she finished the juice, Eklavya appeared nearby. Viyansh noticed him and, after ensuring Vaidehi was comfortable, stood up to greet him. He exchanged a few words with Eklavya, glancing back occasionally to keep an eye on Vaidehi. Vaidehi, now alone, felt a wave of emotions crashing over her. The exhaustion, the concern in Viyansh's eyes, and the overwhelming joy of her brother's wedding all mixed together. Just then, Naina approached. She tried to compose herself, but the effort only made her feel more vulnerable. Naina noticed Vaidehi's distressed state as she approached. She could see the tears brimming in Vaidehi's eyes, and her heart went out to her friend.
Naina: "Heyy, kya hua."
(Hey, what happened?)Vaidehi: "Kuch nahi bhabhi"
(nothing Sister in law)Vaidehi lowered her gaze, unable to hold back her emotions any longer. A lone tear escaped her eye, tracing a path down her cheek. Naina, noticing her distress, reached out and gently wiped the tear away.
Naina: "Heyy Heyy, vaidehi kya hua, ro kyu Rahi ho?? Eklavya ne bataya mujhe tabiyat thik nahi hai na isiliye??"
(Hey, Vaidehi, why are you crying? Eklavya told me you’re not feeling well, is that why?)
