As they made their way towards the entrance of the house, Viyansh reached his car and came to a halt. Turning around, he awaited his wife, who was following closely, diligently adjusting her dupatta. Completely absorbed in her task, she inadvertently bumped into her husband's firm chest, momentarily interrupting her focused endeavor.
Vaidehi: "Oouuhh"
Vaidehi winced as she rubbed her forehead, feeling the slight impact of the collision. Viyansh, crossing his arms over his chest, playfully teased her.
Viyansh: "Why are you so clumsy?"
Confused by his comment, Vaidehi looked at him.
Vaidehi: "Just because I bumped into you once, I'm clumsy?"
Viyansh, raising his eyebrows, questioned her claim.
Viyansh: "Once? Are you sure?"
Vaidehi, feigning deep thought, responded with a mischievous smile.
Vaidehi: "Yeah, well, maybe once or twice."
Viyansh playfully teased Vaidehi about her clumsiness, reminiscing their first encounter.
Viyansh: "Biwi, let me remind you-you're so clumsy that on the very first day of our marriage, you bumped into me. Since then, I've noticed that wherever you walk, you're bound to get yourself hurt on some object or another."
Vaidehi pouted in response, her innocent expression melting Viyansh's heart.
Vaidehi: "Ahh, you are so hard."
She rubbed her forehead, and Viyansh's eyes widened in momentary shock.
Viyansh: "What do you mean?"
Vaidehi, still rubbing her forehead, clarified.
Vaidehi: "Your chest is hard; my head is hurting."
Viyansh, realizing the innocent mix-up, sighed in relief.
Viyansh thought: "God, Biwi, how innocent you are Bina soche samjhe bolti ho (you don't even think before speaking)"
As Vaidehi received a call, Viyansh opened the car door for her, and she took a seat inside. Viyansh settled into the driver's seat, ready for their next adventure.
Vaidehi greeted her grandfather over the phone.
Vaidehi: "Heyy, Dadu."
Harshvardhan: "Hey Vaidehi, how are you?"
As Viyansh leaned in towards Vaidehi, a sudden jolt of surprise ran through her. The proximity of their faces, just inches apart, sent a subtle thrill through the air. Vaidehi, caught off guard, felt a flutter in her stomach, unsure of Viyansh's intentions. He surprised her by taking hold of the seatbelt. Her eyes widened slightly as Viyansh smoothly reached for the seat belt. The atmosphere in the car seemed to change, a subtle tension lingering between them. Viyansh's movements were deliberate as he took hold of the seat belt, his fingers brushing against Vaidehi's ever so lightly. Their faces remained tantalizingly close as Viyansh skillfully buckled up the seat belt. With the seat belt secured, Viyansh leaned back into his seat, a faint but undeniable smirk playing on his lips, noticing the effect he had on her.
Harshvardhan: "Vaidehi, are you there, beta?"
Vaidehi, now composed, replied to her grandfather, while Viyansh drove with a satisfied smile.
Vaidehi: "Ye..ye..yes, Dadu, I'm good. But tell me, how are you? Did you have your breakfast? Also, do you remember you have a doctor's appointment tomorrow? Should I accompany you?"
