30. Escaped

 Ramya looked at the nurse writing something in her notepad and she quickly went to her. Ramya looked back at Shreya who was looking at her from the curtains of her bed.

Ramya went and stood near the nurse in such a way that the nurse had her back to the door. She started engaging her in talks and Shreya took this chance and quickly moved towards the door. Other women saw her going but none said anything because they didn't care. She slowly opened the door, settled her veil, and looked back at Ramya to only see a small smile on her face, a smile which showed her victory.

Shreya closed the door behind her and walked to the right and saw the guards lined up. Her feet stopped at her place and her palms sweat. Her breathing got heavy and she couldn't move. Her feet started moving backward when she felt a tight hold on her hand.

She swiftly looked up through her veil only to see the same doctor with a mask on his face "What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to sweep my cabin first? You guys slack too much." He said harshly pulling her across the corridor.

Once they crossed the corridor, Shreya tried to take her hand back but the man didn't leave her "Girl, you don't have the whole day. I have only 10 minutes to make you reach the backdoor of the hospital." He said dragging her as Shreya tripped on her lehenga but he didn't stop.

And before she could know something, she was already out and alone as the man left leaving her alone. Shreya put her veil up on her head and looked at the sun brightening in the sky. A gush of air touched her cheeks and she took a deep breath. Finally!! Finally!! She was free. A smile made a way on her face when her eyes went to the forest she remembered Ramya's words and she made a run towards the forest before someone could find her.

On the other hand, Viren entered the ward after 20 minutes of his fights and some calls to higher-ups and he finally got the VIP room. As he entered the ward, he saw the curtains pulled up while Ramya was pacing around the bed. Ramya didn't notice him until she heard the loud scratch as the curtains moved.

Ramya looked up to see an angry Viren looking at the empty bed and then at her "Where is she?" He asked.

Ramya stuttered "Bathroom." She stuttered.

"Without clothes?" He asked looking at her clothes lying on the bed.

Ramya slapped her forehead mentally on her blunder. Viren took long steps towards her and held her hair in a tight clutch and a lot of gasps were heard around.

He looked back at guards "Go check the CCTV." He said to them and then moved near Ramya "I will show you the real hell if I don't find her." He said in a low yet threatening voice.

Ramya already accepted her fate ready to get the worst beating of her life or her life taken. Viren tightly held her and dragged her towards the parking outside of the hospital.

Once he reached his car, he threw her inside the car and lit a cigarette waiting for his man to come. Ramya banged the window but no one listened to her.

"Let me out." She said banging on the door only to get a fierce look from Viren.

And soon a man came running.

"Sir, we checked the CCTV footage and found mam going out with a man in a red dress." A man said heaving deep breaths.

Viren listened to him patiently and threw away the cigarette. He crushed the cigarette under his feet and opened the car door of Ramya "Now see what I will do with her and you, once I get my hands on her. I will break her feet and yours so that you both think thrice before going against me." He said closing the door forcefully making Ramya breath heavy.

She looked at Viren going to another car as a driver and a guard settled in her car. Her forehead sweat and she knew that she was going to pay for her deeds and she'll pay in such a way that she won't be able to handle it. She put her head against the seat and prayed to God to at least save Shreya and Rakshit.

On the other hand, Viren reached the backside of the hospital and saw some footprints in the wet sand. He started his car and followed the steps which led him to the forest. The road was full of stones so they all got out of the car and decided to follow Shreya on foot.

"How will we search for mam in such a dense forest?" One of the guards said making Viren think when something struck his mind.

"We arranged drones for today's rally, right?" He asked his man as the other one nodded. "Where is that one drone whose operator was not there?" He asked.

"It's in the car sir, I'll bring it." The guard said running back to the car.

Soon, the drone was in Viren's hand. He looked at his man "Does anyone know how to operate it?" He asked.

Every guard looked at each other and then back at Viren shaking their head in no.

But one of the guards came forward "I was there when those operators were giving instruction and I also saw them using it so I can try."

Viren gave the drone in his hand and the man swiftly started his job.

As the drone flew high in the sky, everyone looked at it in anticipation. Soon, the drone got lost in the forest. It was hard to manage the drone among the trees and branches but they somehow managed it. After a continuous search of 10 minutes, they found Shreya walking with her hand wiping the sweat from her forehead, and drinking water from a bottle.

"My doll.... How would you escape me?" Viren said with a smirk "If you wanna play, then I will play......" He said and then zoomed at her "But this game would give you so many scars so that you won't repeat the same mistake." He said as he loaded his gun and entered the forest.

Shreya was sitting at a place as she was tired and she closed her eyes. She was still scared, the many possibilities were scaring her and she took deep breaths to calm down her heartbeat.

"Mamma escaped." She said talking to her baby bump. "Now we'll go far and once I find my abhi, then we'll save your badi maa too." She said caressing her baby bump but suddenly her face fell "But would he accept me now? Would he accept someone else's child?" She said as her clutch tightened on her stomach.

"Why would someone else accept my child?" She heard his voice making her turn back in an instant only to see Viren standing at a distance of some feet with a smirk and a gun in his hand.

Shreya stood up instantly and her legs moved back.

"Still wanna run away from me?" He asked as he walked slowly towards her.

Shreya holds her dupatta tightly and turned swiftly to run.

Viren smirked as he saw her running "Where would you go in this dense forest?" He said as he started running after her.

While Shreya runs with all her might, to protect herself, her child, her sister's effort, and her decency.

And that's how she met Aashrit Singh Yaduvanshi on the highway in the middle of a forest in a bruised state, with blood all over her, running for her life.

Shreya was happy to be in safe arms, Aashrit was worried for his brother and Abhishek was shocked to hear about his love after almost a year while Viren was scared but angry at Yaduvanshi's for taking his doll away from him.
