31. She is safe

PRESENT

Abhishek was running across the corridor of the hospital with Shivansh and Revati behind him. The hall was filled with many bodyguards guarding every corner of the hospital. He finally turned to the last corridor and he saw Meera sitting there.

Abhi ran to Meera as she stood up to see him.

"Bhabhi, Where is Bhaiya? Shri .........." He said holding her hand not letting her say anything. Meera tried to speak but he was just blabbering "No you don't know Shri. Shreya, her name is Shreya. You saw her bhabhi. " he said with his face filled with tears "How is she? Did she greet you properly? Did she hide somewhere? She loves to play." He said leaving her hand and looking around.

Meera was shocked to see Abhi's condition. He was always the most composed one and seeing him in this condition shocked her. She couldn't form a word seeing him and her heart almost exploded with anxiety fearing how would he react to knowing her situation. She looked around for Aashirt to come soon as she was scared of not handling this situation properly.

"bhabhi....." She heard Shivansh who was huffing running behind him.

Meera looked at Shiv and Revati who lost all the color on their faces and she knew she had to do something.

"Abhi bhaiya please sit." She tried to calm him down.

But his heart was not ready to calm. His heart only craved one thing which was Shreya, his love.

"I will but tell me first where is she hiding?" He said holding her hand and looking at her with so much expectation.

"Doctors are doing some checkup on her bhaiya. Please calm down." She said holding his hand tightly.

Abhi looked at her with tears in his eyes and fell on the floor followed by Meera and Shiv with Revati.

"I missed her. I missed her so much. Please bhabhi please I want to meet her." He cried holding his hair in his hand.

Tears brimmed in everyone's eyes present there.

"How can she trouble me so much? Doesn't she know I have a fragile heart then why?" He said crying and Meera hugged him.

Abhi put his chin on Meera's shoulder and cried his heart out while she caressed his hair "Shhh everything would be fine."

Suddenly, they heard two voices, one of which was Aashrit's. Everyone's eyes turned to the side and they saw Aashrit with the doctor coming out of a room.

Abhi instantly stood up and ran to Aashrit. Aashrit looked at his brother and he knew that it was not the right time but then there was no right time.

He stopped Abhi before he could even say something "Abhi, doctor have something to tell us. Come with me." He said and looked behind to see tears in Meera's eyes.

He quickly walked to her and hugged her "Don't worry Bulbul, I will handle everything." He said making her nod.

"Please handle Abhi bhaiya. He needs you." She said and Aashirt left kissing her forehead.

Abhi and Aashrit were sitting in the doctor's cabin as he was juggling through the reports. Abhi's leg was shivering with every passing second. Aashrit noticed him and held his hand. Abhi looked at his brother and his anxiety was clear on his face.

"Don't worry as long as I am here." Aashrit declared.

His heart calmed on hearing his brother. And he knew that he could relax now, his brother was in for his rescue.

"Doctor, what is it?" Aashrit asked.

The doctor looked up at the young man in front of him whom he treated since his childhood. He knew he could never commit any such thing with a girl.
